So the last time I went to Pioneer Courthouse Square [PCS] Pein and I tried to get on the news [KGW News channel 8 Studio on the Square] BUT our attempts were spoiled. The guy they had out there was one man, we were two, but he was so arrogant he wouldn't talk to us. I knew I shoulda kicked him when I had the chance -Gir face-. It was also a last minute thing. So, since this is take 2, and NOT last minute like last time, I'm actually planning to go back down with more cosplayers this time to help promote Kcon. [and kick that bastard where the sun don't shine]

Day: Not sure yet, some time in July [dates not good: July 4,10,19,20,21,22,25]
Time: I'll have to watch the news and see when they broadcast outside.
Place: Pioneer Courthouse Square. Right smack-dab in the middle.
Dress: Cosplay of course
How many people: Don't care, as long as we have enough to bring their attention to us.

So we could meet in PCS have lunch hang around there for a bit, we could go wander around Portland if we wanted. Photoshoots are a-go! But we gotta stay relatively close to PCS for when they start their live broadcast outside and then we attack!

For those of you who are in my cosplay skit: I'm going to yet again try to get everyone there so we can rehearse and practice the skit. With the way things are going; I'm going to cancel the skit if no one continues to show intrest.

Not sure if I'll come, but some little suggestions...

You might want to check the news station's calendar, as they sometimes have other people booked on their live broadcasts, and they might not have time to send someone out to get you on-the-air. >:
Also, try to be as courteous as possible, and of course try to be age-appropriate even when they aren't near you *_* Being there, you're representing the whole of Kumoricon, so we don't want to give them a bad impression.

You might also want to have a few cosplayers be pretty familiar characters (aka Pokemon, Naruto, Bleach, FF) so people at home would understand the concept of cosplayers quicker. That's not to say everyone has to, it would just be useful. Unfortunately, if I were to come, I can't bring my Pikachu unless it's cold out ^^;

Anyway, have fun and I hope you recruit a big group *_*

Thanks for the input Hazu, that's what I was thinking as well. I'm big on keeping people acting their age and NOT their shoe-size. Of course, I've represented con's before so I know how to act.

Yeah, those two days are the only one that I can go, seeing as how nearly that whole week is full for me. we could put it off till next month. But I think it could work on a week day, since no one has school. But that's my opinion.

It really depends on what the time is. True there's no school but a lot of people have work/other plans since it's summer time. Myself, I have work. So if my schedule is lenient during a weekday I might be able to go if not then I might have to drop out of this unless it's next month on a weekend.

Just clarifying for the time, on a few articles, KGW says they broadcast from the square in the morning (Pretty sure that's 6AM) and at noon.

Are we any closer to choosing a date yet?
