Anyone planning on going as Alphonse Elric, in the armor preferably, because its so awesome! xD
Currently, we have a Roy, Ed, Winry and most likely a riza,we want an AL!!!! anyone? XD

Oh man! our group is really shaping up! We MIGHT have an Al!! <333 also, we have an Izumi Sensei-- possibly a Rose, and either a Psiren or a Lust<33
Still got out winry, Roy, Ed, and Riza<3
Im hoping for a wrath---<3 cuz i have tips on how to make your arm and leg darker than the rest of your body<3 Or for Scar too. lol

****MINOR MANGA SPOILER (Maybe? I don't THINK it's one, but just in case... I've left out the major part of the spoiler)**********
I don't know how many people have read the manga, but it turns out that the Wrath that we know in the anime doesn't appear to even be in the manga anywhere so far. A different character (that's present in both the manga and anime) is Wrath, and in my opinion, fits the name better.

This isn't certain but my group may be bringing down a Lust or Envy (she's not sure which one yet... most likely Envy actually) If she goes as Envy, I'll be going as Wrath. If she goes as Lust, I'm going to go as... Military Miniskirt Edward Elric *poses*

I'm going to force my little sister to dress up as Elysia and my mom as Gracia... though I think it will end up my mom being Hawkeye (she's been wanting to for so long) and my sister is going to be Nina... maybe we'll bring our big poofy dog up with us xD

I've seen people do that before, it's disappointing to see... I know Al is a hard one to cosplay, but if you're going to take the time to cosplay a char, you should put more effort into it than what it takes to draw a sign and just hold it up in pics -_-;; Maybe I just get too into cosplaying...

it's not a serious idea

but if you feel like he /needs/ to be in the pics, it's cute for groups. i'm into cosplaying myself, and i'm just aware of my limits

I just dont know how i would make a pocket sized Al... xD if anyone wants to make one and bring it thats awesome... but i dont see it happening for me. xD

Oh and as a request... My friend is hoping to see alot more homonculus there XD shes worried shes gunna be one of the only ones... ^^;; and i asured her she wouldnt but she wont believe me. xD So if you dont know what to bo... be a homonculous. xD

Is your group doing skits or just posing for photos and stuff?

I'm putting together a ballroom!Rose costume, if you're interested in adding another char to the list =)

Actually, we should probably put together an FMA gathering. We did that at Fanime Con; it was awesome. There were literally like a dozen Eds (most of them had really well-done costumes, too). Only like 2 Al-in-armors though.

Yah there was a bunch of Ed's at teh Sakura Con FMA meet as well. I was the only Envy there... I felt majorally one-sided... Oh well.

I wouldn't be able to make a travel-sized Al *is horrible at 3-d art... HORRIBLE*

I'm really considering forcing my lil' sis to be Wrath (anime-version) instead of Nina... *plots*

Sadly I don't have time to make that Gluttony costume I kept thinking of. (Ahaha, I always thought making one would be grand.)

But for those cosplaying Al, I have a few tips. I've been testing some 'armor' peices for making my Chocobo costume some armor, and I found that you buy white foam sheets (You can get them at craft stores like Craft Warehouse, but they aren't all that cheap, nor that big =/ I'm looking for a place to get them larger.) and you sculpt the armor out of that- then spray paint it metalic silver or whatever color you find works best. It weighs next to nothing when you're done with it, too. However I'm not sure how durable it would be for a 3-day-con. :?
