Kurimono, you're close. It's Omedetou but you got the meaning right.
"Yoshi" is one of them and it is pronounced along the lines of "Yosh." I don't know how else to describe it other than dropping the "I." In my opinion, it kinda means something along the lines of "Alright" or "Yeah, I got it." I'm not sure what to give as an exact definition.
(Bear with me as my host-family computer can't do hiragana without crashing on this site for some reason)
Some other possibilities are:
Yatta (You're basic "I did it")
Sugoi ("Awesome")
Sugee (Also "awesome," usually used by males)
Dekita ("I did it" but I haven't heard it as much)
Katta ("I won")
I feel like there's more but I can't think of anymore.
I read a few pages of the first one when somone had ripped the plastic off of it.... He sneezed and all the girl's skirts went up in a gust of wind....
On the train. o--o;
Oh, and just to clarify a couple of things, "Love Hina" and "Negima" are my favorite manga but not for *THAT* reason. :wink:
Mahou Sensei Negima, class dismissed.
