Also, my question is pertains more to not ever having enough Tamaki's. Wouldn't too many Tamaki(over Haruhi) be too much?

Last I heard, its reversed for sakura 07. Lot of Haruhi but not many Tamaki's.

from my understanding *ponders* there's just going to be a lot of Ouran, in general. I don't think there'll be a problem in there not being enough... sure there might be more of one character than another... but that could go the same for any cosplay. I wouldn't worry about it... xD

Last I heard, only myself, sassy lassy, and Negima have any plans on being Kyouya. So it sounds like we'll be keeping our glasses. Although, I may not bother to get the glasses myself.

Yeah. I wear glasses, so I'll have to cosplay as an original character out of my fanfic. ^^;

Remember I'm 6'2". There's no way I could make the transformation from Kyouya to Haruhi. Although... maybe I could do the same thing Tamaki did when Haruhi tried to avoid the physical exam....

at this last kumoricon kendo boygfriend gave me his glasses to hold while some peeps took his picture and then during opening cerimoies asked me for them and they werent in my purse anymore, i felt terrible , tho some one turned them in at the last day of the con thank goodness
last night at dinner at kojis with my japanese class i aked my teacher if she's ever had otoro and she said when in collage she filled in as a kindo hostess for a friend in japan
(serving sushi and refilling their sake) and they insisted she try it saying it could be the first and last time she has a really good otoro and she said it melts in the mouth and they were right

I found one that works at Goodwill around Halloween.

But I'm helping my two friends (One of them is Keru, of course) sew them.

I'm realistic enough that I'm not going end up in a Host costume. I know I won't be crunching my way to bishiness anytime soon and I'm too short for most of them anyway. Seriously, there were crossplaying hosts taller than me last year.

Anyway, I know that all I will have to do to fit in is shave my beard. then I can cosplay as the innkeeper at the mountain village. If someone will promise to help me with makeup I will totally take part.
Of course, we'd need some of you in costumes from those episodes or else it really doesn't make sense.

Now, how many of you Hosts could I convince into delivering Pocky for my club? I see no reason we can't cooperate. I would be happy to make some Origami roses once I find the right pattern. At the very least I want to make some Pocky roses (origami using paper with the pocky box printed on it) for some photos.

(if i did lose weight, I'd probably still cosplay as Harahui's father) :wink:

I'm going to have a group o ffriends go with me as the host club to Sakura-con, but i don't think we'll be doing it at kumoricon. Or at least i won't. Since my hair will be black at that time, and well let's face it kaoru doesn't have black hair. *plus i'd have the wrong haircut too* XD but my other friends may go as someone from the host club to kumoricon. ^^ I sort of ended up rambling like usual so sorry if that didn't make sence.

you guys left a rose in it o.o... a frikin' rose... in the coke... and it was still full T-T

You know guys, if you can get a full cast in a matching set of theme costumes (the normal uniforms would work too, of course) we could probably get an actual room for you guys from Programming.

Last year we had the Gothic-Lolita teaparty and I don't see any reason why the Host Club couldn't have an event that was similar. In fact.....

If I can get a lovely costume together to play Haruhi's father then I think I could help arrange the whole thing. Imagine, you have a bunch of chairs and tables set up around the room with a line of ladies outside. the doors creak open to reveal the Hosts standing in the middle of the room just waiting to greet them!

Or if we had enough people, (and we might the way MrMustach is talking) we could have two groups, one in the jackets, one in another kind of costume. Then they could be behind curtains until the ladies are seated. We reveal them seperately and with a flourish of music!

Cookies and cakes from the store would be served, with whatever beverages we can safely warm and prepare inthe panel room. Oh what a lovely time!

I know that this can be arranged. For sure.
We just need the cosplayers and the effort. Are you ready?
