Turn on your shower as hot as it goes and sit in the bathroom with the door closed. The steam helps loosen things in your lungs so you can breathe easier. I've had asthma my entire life, my mom taught me the steam trick.

it took like 3-4 weeks before I recovered from it X_X  I had to stay in basic training for extra 5 weeks X_X

I think I had it for longer.  it was a long time before I actually got some medical attention for it(coughing up blood was the first clue).  by the time I did, I would cough so bad everyone would think I was dying.
I hope your's is no where near as bad and you get well much sooner then I did.

My mom had bronchitis when I was younger, and two broken ribs, and then I tripped over a bean bag chair and cracked my head open on the brick fireplace... and we had to run two blocks to the hospital and I was bllleeeeeeeedddiiingggg and the doctor's like, "Which one of you am I seeing right now?" I gotted six stitches. XD

Oh noez! I've had pneumonia twice. The first one was a full on shot. I was sick for like three weeks, but only out of school for one xD It was a regular cold for about a week and a half before we went to the doctor. I slept alot and got antibiotics from the doc, and had to take this yucky cough medicine. my mom set up a vaporizer in my room at night. It really helped all the congestion.

I hope you get better soon Shay!!!
