I finally decided my costume. xD LOL I bet you guys are sick of seeing my posts. ANYWAY.

I'm wondering if there will be any other Brawl characters there? I'll be going as Princess Peach from, respectively, her own game, and the Brawl series. I would totally love a photo op with a whole group of some Brawl characters.

I also have a friend that's possibly going to be coming to Kumoricon, if things work out, as Mal from Firefly. xD

Unfortunately, no. All the dresses I didn't want found to be low-neck cuts, and Peach has a turtleneck on her dress in most all of the pictures I've seen. So I'm basically making my costume again from scratch this year. ^^;

Oh man I've been so tempted to cosplay as Pit or well someone from Brawl(Too many to choose from @_@) But alas, I don't think I can make it this year ._. other cosplays and such. -Sigh-

But after the part in Brawl when Princess Peach breaks up a fight with tea...XD I have a newfound respect for her so if I see you I'll definitely try and get a picture.-Thumbs up!-

My boyfriend and I are going to do the Ice Climbers for either Kumoricon or Sakuracon. Probably too hot for Kumoricon, but with the weather lately anything is possible.

Hmmm... well, I did plan on wearing the Mr. Game & Watch costume I made for the release of Brawl at least a little bit at KumoriCon. It's too hard to see out of it to wear it much, though. Plus I get sore from trying to hold my body in angles that work two dimensionally....

YES!! Peach is one of my fav characters in SSB Melee/brawl.

Please your highness, would you provide us the honor of seeing you in combat at the cosplay budokai? With the dragon balls you can wish for anything you desire. I hope a dance won't be out of the question either, though the choices are yours to make.

I had actually toyed with the idea of going as Brawl! Peach as well, because my good friend is going to be doing Twilight/Brawl! Zelda. So we'd be chillin' together if we decide to do it, though I'm pretty sure Zelda is her numero uno priority cosplay for K-con. ^^ Photoshoot would be epic win, of course =D

at the first k-con my younger brother went as link and I went as pikachu and we werent even thinking, till the last day a lady went up to us and said "oh I get it a smash brothers cosplay! neat"
we were like
".......

?.....!!!! yeah? um (looks down puts 2+2 together) um yeah thats right super smash brothers cosplay! that was compleatly on purpase really!"

Probably. I don't know what all days they're going as who, but since it's for two days, you'll prolly end up getting at least one of their groups. ^^

It's all cool, Raine. Just thinking about brawl-ers in a DBZ-ish tourney. Since that would mean anywhere from Peach to Mario, Pikachu to Link, Sonic to Snake, Ice climbers to even Master Hand if someone dared. Bring all the Brawl to the Budokai that you can!

Posted this in the other thread too, but my friends who are doing the Earthbound/Mario cosplays are doing them the first two days, so if the photoshoot ends up on the third, they won't be able to make it. Just so you know. ^^

ok this is kinda an anal question on my part but...

are you going as peach or are you going as brawl-peach. cause there are a lot of details in that outfit that aren't the basic "peach looks like this" that the art from back in the day or like....that super peach game. AND the brawl costume is different than the melee costume. i dont know, i just feel like a distinction should be made there. it has tons of cool embroidery, or appliqué or something.

I'm trying to attempt the Brawl style, because that's my favorite dress of hers. Trying to currently find the lace to match, but it's proving hard at the moment.

Anyway, what does it matter? xD;; Peach is still Peach, even in Brawl.

it doesn't "matter" peach IS still peach, but peach isn't always brawl peach.

Yeah. I've done extensive research. XD;; I can't get it exact - no one can - but I can get it close. And it's different artist renditions, really, so does it matter if it's exact or not? It's all in good fun anyway, it isn't a debate.

Pit is the one cosplay I really want to do for K-con. I plan on using the earnings from my summer job plus my free time to make it into a summer project of sorts. I haven't totally finalized my cosplay list yet though, but Pit is definitely top priority to me! <3

I know my boyfriend wants to cosplay a brawl character as well, as well as several of our friends, but I don't know if they'll be coming or not yet.

Oh, i definitely know he's coming, it's just a matter of him actually making a costume. I tend to have to help him a lot with that, but I'm only really a novice sewer, so there's only so much I can do. He really wants to cosplay Captain Falcon. And to me it seems like it would be difficult to make and pull off well, but he says if I can make a Pit cosplay he can make a Captain Falcon cosplay xD So hopefully we'll somehow be able to make that for him. :3

Wellp, me and my friends were planning to do a Smash Bros cosplay together, with a Meta Knight, Fox, Mr. Game n' Watch, and maybe Lucas SO FAR, but we were gonna do it on Monday which doesn't coincide so well with the photoshoot which is just terrible but that's okay because we can still high-five each other or whatever when we pass each other by, amirite? I am currently in the process of gathering materials for my Cosplay for Kumoricon: Wario.
I'm trying to create one of his alternative outfits from Brawl. My friend, Goatchild, is making the design on Wario's vest, so it should look pretty authentic. But right now my biggest concern is getting a helmet (which I will probably have to spray paint) and goggles, that resemble Wario's.

Sorry about the delay, been insanely busy trying to find time to make my costume. x:

Well... nothing is really set in stone here. XD At the most we'll have two days, we just need to figure out an exact time here so that we can have more people for the photoshoot. If anyone's interested, PLEASE reply at what day you'd most be able to attend. I'm hearing people are wanting a different time for Sunday right now, and Monday is a possible go as well.

How does 1:00 sound for you guys, instead of 4? It sounds like more stuff is happening later on in the evening.
