Yeah, this.

I am starting to doubt I can go since no real progress has been made on this since it started. No time or date has been set, and nobody (aside from the constant banter of pie) has brought up what they'd be bringing. And if it was coming up this week I don't know if I'll be able to think of something I, myself, can bring.

Sorry, if it's next wednsday it's a definite no. I have a giant speech next week and plus I can't really go places on weeknights unless it's really close-by. I hope everyone has a great time!~ :3

I could try and pack along some whippy cream. Just need to know where to bring it. And I'm unsure if I have enough money for OryCon except to go on Sunday for the Amtgard demo.

Okies, I've talked to my dad about this, and it looks like the best day for this would be saturday the 28th (Which would be after Thanksgiving), so that's what I'm going to be planning for : D

Will this be a good date for all you peoples?

If it is, I'll probably post a new thread with details such as what we would be doing, and a list of people who are coming ^_^

Newberg is easy as long as I know where exactly in Newberg, since the bus isn't so common that way.

If this was the 23rd, I get off work at 3:30 so could have made it. but I don't get off until 5pm on the 28th and then I'm off work the 29th.

not worth it. I live in beaverton, work in Hillsboro. Either way, with 5 o clock traffic it would take almost an hour to get there, then the thing would only have an hour left. for that much gas cost to get there, only an hour being there wouldn't be justified.

But it's cool. There is always stuff going on here. ^^

I think it's only because of where it's at. Most people in and around Portland rely on the bus or max to get to places, and every so often carpool. I'm actually getting a ride into Newberg since the bus stops at Sherwood then turns around, and the 99W bus only runs weekdays. There's been trouble with attendance at some Sherwood meetups also. But the few that come still can make it a party. Some prefer a small cozy party to a bigger less controlled one.
