AMV challenges
« on: April 10, 2010, 07:43:36 pm »
I decided to create this little something here on the AMV portion of the Forums because it would help (I hope) inspire the AMV artists out there.

Okay here is my challenge. There are 3 songs that I can think of that I would like to see made into AMV's they are, I believe when I fall in love and I only have Eyes for you both by Art Garfunkel, and Dream Weaver by Gary Wright. The Animes can be anything from the past or present. If anyone is willing to take up this challenege let me know and give me a link to them when they're done so i can check them out.

Okay folks, here's another challenge from me. I want someone out there with any anime they can think of to create an AMV with music by Alan Parson's Project. So, any takers?

I'd always considered Alan Parsons to be 'right next door' to another band that I enjoyed back in those days: Emerson, Lake, and Palmer.

Now, how 'bout a crack-infested pyrotechnic effects-blast done to ELP's 'cover' of Aaron Copeland's 'Hoedown?'

I also used ELP's rinky-tink player-piano ending of 'The Sheriff' - sped up to 125% - as a Contest Ender in 2005.

I did one years ago to "Games People Play".

It's quite old, I made it back in 2002.

Okay folks here's another challenge for you AMVs makers out there.

I've always been of the strong opinion that New Age music and Anime are like chocolate and peanut butter (Two good things meant to go together.)

My challenge to the peeps out there is this. Create an AMV to Enya's song "Book of Days" or any other song as well as any Enigma song.

As I said on another thread, I'd like to see someone do AMVs for the Stone Temple Pilots songs "Interstate Love Song" and "Big Bang Baby."
