Masquerade @ Kumoricon Questions
« on: July 21, 2009, 05:07:46 pm »
Last year at Kumoricon a mask was required to enter the masquerade, will it be the same for '09? I was just wondering because if so, me and my friends will make sure to come prepared this year :D

I believe that yes it is a requirement for the masquerade ball since it makes since to have a mask in an event like that. So it's better to be prepare and have one if you are going to attend the event.

Thank you! But that brings up another concern~

Female attire: Semi-formal attire includes prom dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, and dressy separates. Skirts should be no shorter than knee-length and at least an inch off the floor (for ease of movement).

If a skirt or dress is shorter than knee length then would it be fine as long as one is wearing shorts underneath?

You wont know until all the Events and Panels are Officially schedule which is always around Aug sometime. So you will have to wait for now and just be prepare with anything you will need if you are attending.

I was very happy with the masquerade this year. I'm glad they weren't too strict about attire :)
