I am bored...there is nothing to do at all...period.
I sit on my computer every day doing nothing and I hate it.
I could play video games but I just haven't been in the mood.

I kind of want to play Sims but not really... [/shrug]

And I just hate being bored!!!! >.<
I want to finish my cosplays but I can't because I don't have the fabric I need and I can't get it until next weekend (which is panic for me).
I can't finish the plushie for my friend because I don't have the brown fabric I need for the jacket.
And I need to order my contacts for Sasuko but I can't find the website again!!! GRAH!

I have decided to spend the rest of my summer catching up on TV shows!

Finished BBC's Sherlock (loved it), finished Misfits (loved it), now to find another series I can watch. Hm.

Today is going to be an amazing day...

I got to sleep in
It's sunny out
I have a delicious glass of sweet tea with fresh blackberries
I get to go to Katamayogorobi's for an anime marathon in a few hours
and most importantly since I've seen the series already that means I get to spent 10+ hours dedicated to cosplay, so I should be able to finally get the sewing done on my last cosplay!!

Oh yeah... todays going to be an awesome day indeed.

Ok. So I entered the Program Cover contest, and thought my entry had a decent chance of winning. Now that I look again, I think that someone's else has got this in the bag (and might make a sweep of this year's contests).

I'm sure I lost, but you know that little string of hope that hangs on desperately? Yeah. I've got that.

Anyone got any ideas on how to bash that string so when it's officially announced that I lost I won't be disappointed?

I remember last year at con I walked by your artist alley table and I think you're really talented. Personally I think it's always good to keep hoping, it ensures you'll never give up.
Just remember that even if you don't win this year it just means you can have another shot next year (and keep trying!), and that even if you lose it doesn't in any way mean you weren't good enough.

I had such a weird dream last night/this morning. D|

It was like a little get together of con people or whatever and the person hosting was NeonFoxRocks...
And he was hitting on me and I was trying to hide behind Roscoe. Then at one point there was me and about three other girls and Neon. One of the girls is his fiance and apparently he lost his wedding band in a boat accident or something.
But then when I'm exploring the house later Neon tries to get me to go on a date with him but it might be a bit awkward cause he has to drive someone home. And I'm all, "Oh, your fiance? D<" and he's all, "No...my girlfriend..."
So I call him some names and run out and meet up with his fiance. And I proceed to tell her all this stuff and she's all upset and crying. And yeah...

I didn't really get the point of the whole thing except that Neon was a total player. XD
And his fiance looked a bit like Rei from Eva with the short hair and stature and everything. Brown hair, though.

I have finally decided to ditch my Soul Eater cosplay... everytime I looked at the fabric for Marie I felt a fire of rage build up in my chest and I'd end up sitting on my bed thinking of all the things I'd rather be doing.... so yeah, I'm relieved that I don't have to stress with it anymore.

So now that means I'll be bringing back my white mage Rikku cosplay from Final Fantasy X-2 for day one. Another plus is that my awesome boots I've beenmaking for Marie actually works for Rikku too.

Oh life is swell. I'm happy with this decision.

I FINALLY GOT IT IN THE MAIL!!!
IT'S GORGGEEOUUUSSS (and fits, ohhh thank god it fits right~!!!!!)

Need to hem the bottom of the skirt just a tiny bit, raise the sleeves up a bit
Paint the belt (hose tubing) and the balls that go on it, and I'm done!!!

Can you hear that everyone? That is the sound of hundreds of anime fans marching towards Portland. This Labor Day weekend Portland shall become the center of the Anime Universe! Hold on to your seats for all those crazy things that go on. Glomp circles, the game, Screams of "Marco" and "Polo" and "It's over 9000!!!", and of course the dreaded "(I or you) lost the game!". The randomness ensues.

Sometime during next week I'm heading to downtown portland to enjoy Pioneer Courthouse square and the city BEFORE the chaos ensues. It'll probably be Thursday.
