The next batch of badges starts being mailed on the 16th, right?

Well, supposing I'm interpreting the prereg page right.

It looks like the last day to actually get your badge mailed to you was August 2nd, anything after that and till the 16th will be picked up at the door according to the site

I just figured that the badges ordered prior to the 2nd of August (and after April 5th) would be sent out on the 16th, and provided that...

I ordered my badge on the 21st of July, so I'm really just asking for the sake of my own, personal peace of mind... since weird things happen to stuff I order online, sometimes. >____>;

I ordered my badge on July 5th, and am still waiting on it. Starting to get worried since the con is so close.
Anyone know what batch it should be mailed out in?

I GOT MY BADGE!!!

Yaaaay, thank you k-con staffer(s) involved with badges, thank you!!! Oh man, I am so stoked. As I was walking out to the mailbox just as the mail truck left I knew if it didn't arrive today I would be waiting for it at the convention (which would have made me very, very sad...) and it was there!!!!!!

And they're soooo pretty, great job with the badge design!

Now, back to the sewing machine. XD <333 (And yes, I have way too much fun with that "marquee" option, haha).

Guys... if you registered before Aug 2nd (which was the cutoff for mailing out), and you still haven't received your badge, email registration@kumoricon.org with your full name, when you ordered, and they can look it up for you.

The badges are mailed out in batches, and I don't know what the rhyme or reason is to them.

I sent an e-mail quite a few days ago, but never got a reply. =(

And dangit!! I can't check to see if mine came! I sent it to my brothers house due to us moving. lol. He has a locking mail box, so I can't go over and check it. He's at the hospital with his wife (They're having their first baby.. like.. any minute now! =D) , and probably will be for a few days. So.. I have to wait even LONGER until he gets home to see if it came. xD

So, I'm wondering, if you ordered your badge RIGHT before the cutoff, like Aug 1st, and selected it to be mailed, would you still get it before k-con? I'm a little worried now, cause of all i read about people still waiting for badges that were ordered way before the cut off and they still have not received theirs.

It was horrible...about a month or two ago, I thought I lost my badge xD it was burried under papers that were stacked on my printer xP

So, my badge name is PaperRoxas and the jacket I have will say PaperRoxas on the back, so I can easily be found 8D

What are your badge names?

Do you have a label maker at all? You could use the blue 'film' (LOL i dont know what you call it) and put what you want on that, and try to cover up your name?

i put sabata. cause he is the most pimp video game char ever. he's like a demon vampire with a gun. so kinda like van helsing. except sabata has a laser gun, that shoots that power of darkness. and the weapons in the game are cool cause they are powered by solar power. (SERIOUS. there is a friggin solar panel on the game!)

Yes, if you want to be constantly stopped by staff because something looks odd about your badge, this is a great idea. If you don't have to be stopped constantly, I reccomend NOT altering your badge. TPTB might decide that an altered badge is not valid.
