I was nervous about chess during the con about the first day but as time went on I got over it and was really looking forward to it. It helps to know that your friends are all around you. Believe me it helps. Ask Sugarlat, she didn't want to participate in chess but we made her do it anyway and she had a great time ^_^

last time I checked it could possible rain Friday and Sunday but they weren't predicting rain on Saturday....even if it does rain it should rain hard....showers most likely so we could stay under trees or go under the bridge

I was thinking that if it did rain we should have a backup plan. I was thinking that we could get on the max and go to Lloyd or somewhere else indoors...does anyone else have any suggestions?

I was actually thinking of doing that too....I mean we wouldn't really be able to play cosplay chess, but I would play in the rain if it wasn't dramatic.

well my bone sword wouldn't hold up in the rain....neither would the paint on my face but everything else would be fine....and I know other people would fall under the same category if not worse than me so we need to have something indoors as a backup.

Well if it starts raining and it gets too bad, coulden't we just stick to a mall or something and be annoying there? I mean, I know it isn't what exactly what we'd want to do for someone's birthday, but.. It seems like a solution if it doesn't stop.(Though when it comes to Oregon, you can't expect what the rain would do. It might not even do that XP)
As for umbrellas.. XD I'll have to hide under one with someone if needed. I have none at my house. The last one we had broke because I used it in a rain storm on the way to school a few years back.. o.<

Depending on how hard it is raining....if it is pouring then yes postpone it but if it is only sprinkling then we can play then move....it all depends on the weather on Saturday.

I think as long as it isn't full blown obviously hitting weapons pretty hard. They might ask us what's up, but that's about it. Plus it's obviously for an event, not just beating eachother senceless because we can. :3
