So close to being done. I had a 10 hour cosplay making marathon with TsukikoAiko. My fingers hurt so bad.

Legretta-
Undershirt- Done
Skirt- Need to fabric paint the lines on (80%)
Overdress- Need to put interfacing on the inside, fabric paint the swirly bits and the circle on the back (75%)
Tights v2.0- (0%)
Gloves- (20%)
Wig- Just need to spray the ponytail with adhesive and tack the hair thing on a couple more times.  (90%)
Red Thing- Done
Gun #1- Finishing touches (90%)
Gun #2- Finishing touches (90%)

Boyfriends Issac Dian-
Neckerchief- Done
Vest- (0%)
Shirt- We're going out to buy it tomorrow
Gloves- Same as above
Cowboy Boots- Same as above
Pants- Done
Cowboy Hat- Done

And if I feel like an awesome girlfriend and I'm not dying from cosplay pains I might make him some spurs for his boots.

Here's all to everyone done and still working on their cosplays! I wish you all well. Hopefully I'll be one of the finished ones by tomorrow.
WHY DO THE FORUMS SUCK SO BAD?

Yes it is Thursday, so Friday is the official count down of hours!

I'm waiting on the glue to dry for the white mage before I can do anything >> Stupid glue takes forever to dry, but we'll see how well fabric glue REALLY holds up.

I;ve never had luck with fabric glue. Mainly because a) I was impatient when I used it and b) I was using it on felt. I'm sure you'll have better luck.

Progress update! My hat dried, and I just glued barnacles and seaweed to it! 8D! I'm so excited!

Discovered last night at 11:00 pm that I had no clear spray gloss.  Grr.  Going to run out at lunch today and pick some up, spray the belt fittings tonight and hope they dry quickly enough -- though if the weather's damp, I'll just stick to the paint-on gloss they have on them already.  Also have to pick up pin backs for the two buttons and glue all that stuff together tonight.

I think I've got my Miranda dress worked out.  Whether that theory becomes reality will be determined tonight.  I've got to do that and sew up the obi for Risai, and then call it done.

Oh, why do I not get off work until four? T_T  And I have until about 10:30 tomorrow to do everything I still need to, which includes packing, because my flight's at two and I have to take my car in to the shop beforehand.  Whee, panic time!

Yay, finished the sword for Ashitaka!

Rest of the outfit, as it stands now

Also partly finished the arrows, as you can see. Sanded the notches into the ends, stained the dowels, made the arrowheads, and painted the feathers. Once they're dry I'll paint the arrowheads, seal the arrows and add the flights.

Getting psyched! Now I can work on the Cardcaptor Sakura stuff for the rest of the day. The Star Wand's still got a lot of work left:

...but I'm going to focus on the outfits today. Finish the skirts and pants and make the collar and cuffs, and if I've got the time, cut out the hats and work on the patches.

Will probably make Ryouga's headband today as well, seeing as it's due Saturday.

almost done with rikku's shirt. then i have to finish both gloves, the arm band, and the shorts. i figured out an easy way for my left glove. i thought, well it is summer and i will be warm so i dont wand a big thick glove with my fingers closed in all day. so i got an old sock from my friend and im gonna cut the foot off of it and cut a thumb hole. tada! instand thin, fingerless left rikku glove. then of course i have to sew the ends and fray check them too, but it will only take me 15 minutes tops for that. :D

ZE SKIRT IS FINISHED! *plays FF battle end theme* Finished sewing, that is. Still have to do the painting. Twenty minutes, tops. ^^ Almost done with the Tiger Racket. I took artistic liberty a lot on it, since there is no close up of it AT ALL. And I ran out of hot glue... so had to improvise. =^-^= Then Pikachu's 'bolts! XD

I remade Temari's obi belt so it looks much better. Now it's two pieces attached (well really one piece folded over and sewn to itself) where before it was one piece with the edges folded and glued. It looks much much better now, and it's ironed so it all flat and smooth ;D

Hm maybe if you can make the rest of your face a nice light blue + white shade, so it looks more like a pastel? That would look cool =3 It's better than making the face all black like the chocobos in the game >< Anyway loooove the paint! I hope it washes off better now?

Finally done with my inventory menu sign! 'BOUT TIME. Though I guuuesss I should add those item icons in front of everything listed...Maybe just bullet holes. I've given up at this point. Blah. Anyhoo, I should probably figure out what I'm wearing with this thing now. HOORAH.

Ah, shucks, guys. -shuffles feet-

Oh yah! I was going to wear a white glove, so I could just point to the various items in stock. I wish I thought of the velcro thingy beforehand, though! Daaang. >_<

Oh oh ohhh, should I still put bullet holes/item icons in front of everything, or can I let it be? I can let it be, right? RIGHT?

@EveofAbyss, lychee-twist, and nikkiolie: Thank you!

Aaaannndd...I lied. I did the wigs instead. I'm glad I did though, because they took a few hours and wig-trimming's messy. Better to take care of it at home.

They're done, though, which means I'll take a break for dinner and then start sewing. Sakura still needs her little tails sewn in, but I'll take care of that after the mini-wefts are made.

I got an issue here. I'm trying to iron a saying onto a shirt for the chess match, 'Pawn, one letter from pwn'... But yeah, the iron-ons won't stick. Should I just tack them on on one side and then flip the shirt over and iron from the inside?

You want to press iron-on adhesives from both sides. Place your patch on the shirt, press for 10 seconds, and let it cool. Flip it over and press from the other side, then let it cool. Don't tug at it until it's completely cool.

What strength of iron-on are you using? Lightweight? Heavy-duty? What kind of fabrics? It can make a difference in how effective the iron-on is.

So close! CCS can wait until tomorrow, I've got a few days to work on those anyway. One last big push!

Wait... oops, forgot I still want to get the Eye Drops and Echo Screen done. And got the Annoytment done. XD Eye Drops will be contact cleaner and the Echo Screen will be some sort of sheer screen/fabric with ECHO painted on it. XD Potion is juice, Hi-Potion is another juice, Antidote is iced green tea with lemon in a bottle with a dropper, Elixir is melted Popsicle, Remedy is honey, Annoytment is lotion, the gems are fake (except my person Garnet), phoenix downs are mint-green feathers off a boa, pinions are the same but white, pumice is... pumice, Ribbon is randomly colored ribbons, and the Magic Tags are random slips of paper I doodled symbols and japanese on. Still working on the rest.

The Magic Tags, summon jewels, ribbons, and Phoenix Downs/Pinions will be handed out at con. Maybe the Dead Peppers and Gysahl Greens too, depends on if I can find enough jalapenos and stuff. *evil smirk*

If I see you I'll have to ask for a Phoenix Down. What would be fun with a FFVII version of one of those would be to put a little cherub, a bunch of red and yellow feathers and some sparkly red plastic gemstones on a little rig on the end of a dowel rod. BAM! Instant revival photo-op.

Since I'm going to stop at Jo-Anns on my way out of town for my hair ribbon I'm gonna buy a few fake flowers and be Roxas with a bouquet XDDD AND a keyblade.

Lotus: I'd suggest a sports bra, or some binding on your chest if you want to look more Link-y. But really it looks pretty awsome ^^ That's the only thing I can suggest.

Too bad I don't have any hot glue to make a quick flower pin for my Diva costume - that'd make an awsome "Hat" accessory for it XD hehe.

Hey... that's an idea, actually. I could take a bunch of them and glue them to the hands of this little angel/cherub thingy I have and attach string to it's neck. Then, whenever I want, I could tie it to the Tiger Racket and hang it over someone. XD

Then find an Aerith... NOPE! Don't work on her. XD

Sure you can carry it all? Mine are all small and hand-made. ^^ Probably going to use fruit or peppercini for gysahl and have dried whole chili's for the dead peppers. XD
I want to mooch off your phoenix downs as well... a few red are more recognizable. I didn't have enough money or time to get any. T.T Trade for pinions? XD

What do Pinions do in comparison to Down? Is it like comparing Life1 to Life2? Revival with half HP and revival with full HP?

Eh, but if you save Aerith she'll never see Zack again or find the Promised Land! *Total sap*
