I'm pretty sure I posted this before, but I tooootally have been ignoring the threads here.

Any tips on sewing spandex?

If found this AWESOME scuba like material that's thick and stretchy, but I'm scared to cut it and sew it. Guidance would be most appreciated!

@lychee: i made raven out of lycra... which is kinda like spandex... or is spandex or something... you need a good zigzag stitch and you need to remember to streatch the fabric a little as you go... i recremend useing a scrap piece of fabric first

I'm even trying to repair a purple moon scepter toy to tote along. I rescued it from Goodwill and I just need to get the rusted screw out so I can replace it and the batteries.

I'm sorry for not being on that much, been busyyy... :} But I'm willing to be your daughter! (I won't have a moon-mama since my best friend will have dreads so wearing a wig will be impossible for her... haha. Don't know if she'll be doing a Sailor Senshi at all, but she will for SC2011<3)

Meetups.
Just because the attendance is only a tenth of what a con would be, doesn't mean the awesomeness should be just as small.

BTW, I watched Super S last night while re-learning how to play the card game, just to see the part where Usagi and Chibi Usa bring out their Moon Scepters. Sailor Moon's should measure out to 2 1/2 or 3 feet in length, while chibi moon's would be 2 feet long. And being Tuxedo Mask, I do plan on bringing a rose or two in case someone needs a charming rescue, or a good smell to counter a gloomy day.

That's why I rescued the subbed movies from Goodwill, same with NG Evangelion.

Plus in the subbed versions they show what they thought was too much for American girls.

When I saw Super S, I witnessed Tux Mask get slammed around a few more times than in the dub. Poor me.

My family was more into murdering my brain with rated R movies more so then cartoons were someone got slammed around a few extra times. o.x

The dub voices.....are...pardon my french, plain crap.

Though I havent whitnessed the sub yet cause I'm more so for hearing rather then seeing~

BUT ANYWAY....I'm getting confused by Helios. One pic shows horn...one doesnt....wttffff

I think it's all up to you if you want to add the horn or not, Sam.
If you feel like taking the time to try and make it and find a way to attach it, you can.
If not, you can just leave it as is and add the dot to your forehead.
Granted, I think the dot is on his forehead, when he has the horn too, but still.

You should return the favor by introducing them to Hellsing if you haven't already. I'm sure Alucard might entertain them for a little while.

Sadly, I showed Hellsing to my family and it wasnt bloody enough for them, or disturbing as Puppet Master.
Heck, I even showed them Elfen Lied and THAT wasnt bloody enough. I do beleive my family has some mental issues that need to be worked out. XD
