it really says how I feel about the entire "off topic" section of the
forums... For some reason since it's active, I feel inclined to join, but I
have no emotional or personal need to continue posting in anything other
than the fact that I am here and so is this wierd thread about battle of
the sexes... or cool pictures and the like.

I used to go into IM chat rooms with forum people like this, and it was always wildly entertaining. I know you can make chat rooms in AIM, but I have no idea how to do it.

I use a 3rd party AIM client, so i don't know how to do it on like normal AIM, but i'm sure its really easy ^^

oooo I used to use Trillian. But than just switched back to the normal clients of MSN/Yahell/AIM because I couldn't get my webcam or mic to work when I was gaming online. I'm cheep and so are my online friends. No one wanted to shell out money for Vent. xD

never got set up because of liability issues. a chat run by kcon staff would mean we are responsible for all things said within the chat, and well... people are....nuts

Not liability (we wouldn't be liable for anything said any more than we are on the forum, and really probably less), just moderation and maintenance effort.
