(Let me make this clear right now: I AM *NOT* SUGGESTING THIS MOVIE. I am only saying how funny it is and mentioning it as a joke.)
The movie is called "Cannibal Holocaust". You should be able to Wiki it. All I know is that it is OBSCENELY grotesque and real animals were killed for the making of the movie. It defies so many morals it isn't even funny. x.x

The pictures there, were enough to make me gag.

By the way, the movie 'The Calling' is not rated.

Of the movies already mentioned I wouldn't mind seeing are JU-ON, Suicide Club, Sleepy Hollow, Repo! The Genetic Opera (not very scary but way fun), and the Tomie in no particular order.

Other movies that might be good are Feast rated R (a fun horror comedy), Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon rated R (another horror comedy), and Dark Water (the japanese one) rated pg-13 (not a lot of gore but still creepy).

I'm a bit concerned that this could be construed as a room party. While kumoricon does not ban room parties (since that would be impossible to enforce) we don't allow folks to advertise them through the forums, info desk, signs, etc. I'm going to link this to Jeff, but unfortunately, we may be legally required to crash this party.

If all goes well and on time, Friday night, there will be a screening at the con hotel for folks who are there early, of a scary film. It's called "Pickman's Muse," and it's a (loose) adaptation of "Haunter of the Dark," by H. P. Lovecraft. If you can make it to the screening, don't miss it. I watched it (my aunt has the lead female role), and it's been several days, and I'm still revisiting images from it and pondering its philosophy! Which means it's good! It's a fan homage, and it hasn't even been publicly released yet! (I'm friends w/the director.) So catch it while you can!

Also, you should watch The Departed, it's not a horror movie, but it's this awesome mafia v.s. cops flick, pretty gore-y.
I have to warn about some nudity in a certain part, the sleazy mafia leader guy is watching porn or something at one point.
Other than that though, I liked it. XD
The ending was so friggin' ironic, I laughed so hard.
