I was actually thinking about that too. From what i've seen on Youtube and from pictures of other APH world meeting at different cons, this seems to be the best set up.
All of the tables would be at one end of the room, sort of like a "stage". If we need more, we could always sort of wrap them around ether wall. Um...Like this

This'll be my first K-con so I have nooo idea how the rooms are generally set up, but do the users/participants of the panel get full reign of where things go and how? Cause that floor plan looks great Saki. I know at Fanime and SA they barely let us move anything around ._.

It looks like they were trying to go for a common political set-up, like what you would see in Congress or the UN. It shouldn't be too hard to set it up, though possibly time-consuming, depending on the previous room set-up and how many people will be there.

I don't believe it would be too long to set up? I mean if there's even just 3 people to set up and the tables can be dragged, that's like 2 minutes moving main tables and however long it takes to set up chairs/whatever the audience is seated in. As ChibiO stated, if we're organized and each do some work it'll be easy. (Not meaning to be a know it all by the way, I help manage a restaurant and work for a catering company and I love doing this stuff *w*)

But like I said, it can also depend on how the room was previously set up and what is there/available. I do this sort of thing for a living, so I've seen plenty of examples in which a "simple" process can take over half-an-hour with four people working on it.

A few other ideas:

Find out what panel will be taking place before this one. Depending on what's there, things might be close enough to where the process could be quick; if not, you'll have a better idea on what to do once it's time.

Plan out what this panel will look like, in as much detail as possible. How many tables? How will they be arranged? How many chairs per table? (I'd say 2 is most likely, but it could be possible that 3 could fit just fine...)

Coordinate with the hotel to make sure that enough tables and chairs are close by enough to allow for a faster set-up time. Actually, it'd probably be better, in many ways, to deal with the Programming department since they're already working with the hotel.

It should be just fine; if we're getting a fairly large room like stated (since last year it's stated there were TONS of people) there should be supplies along the lines of the size of that room. (IE a huge room with only five chairs and two tables = ridiculous, I'm assuming the event/panel before us is going to be fairly large if they'll have the larger room as well)

And if the layout really is more complicated than what was previously proposed, no big deal. I'm sure we could work with it. Get a few ideas down and go with whatever works best at the time.

im sorry to say this, but Mint bunny is destroyed.... the pants have red spots all over them and they were put in to a bleach wash by accident... well i guess the pants are just destroyed. i only have the top now and it might just look weird if i just ware that and pants with it. so its that or im kumajirou for day time pannel. sorry otaku

you should switch and do Latvia for the under 18 and N.Italy for the 18+ because were full on N.Italy's for the under one~

Wow surprised I managed to log on on the first try. Im sorry its been a long while. Im going to the next meeting to sign up for staff. I have everything for fem Germany except a wig :/ . Most likely I wont be doing fem turkey. Ive been lazy to fix my hair and now turning it back to brown, or turning it blond would be a bit problematic. Exactly half of my hair (the bottom half) is blond, my roots for half of my hair is dark brown. Considered if I could Bleach it I could try Igiko but no uniform like hers.
