Decided to man up and get a hotel room so yay for that, Going as Frank West from Dead Rising for all days since I am lazy and I am also the photographer for the whole thing so it makes that easy.

Anyone from Forest Grove or Hillsboro need a ride to this thing? Got a nice GPS so I will actually drive up there this year.

There's a chance I might come up just on the 1st. Is there a risk that by the time I get there the con could be sold out/ at capacity / unable to let more folks register?

That seems highly improbable. We're expecting to be at 60 or 70% capacity at best.

Last year there weren't any lines, it's a pretty small con.

There shouldn't be much in the way of lines. Maybe a half hour's wait if you happen to arrive at the same time as everyone else.

M.E.W Con weekend starts on Thursday. They are above the rules for a normal weekend.

Besides, that means it ends on Saturday at midnight, so everyone gets all of Sunday to FINALLY SLEEP. The day of rest will be realized after the chaos of sparking the new year.

I tried submitting an e-mail to them asking if they still had spots left on Full-time Volunteer Staff to get in free and I haven't gotten a reply yet. I'm sure it's because they're full up on staff but still, no clear answer.

It was pick up last year. At least for Artist Alley. Keep in mind it's MEWcon's 2nd year so there's a lot of kinks to work out still.

Mewcon is looking for volunteers still so if you want to help out and get in for %50 off. Go to the hotel on Weds, and sign up.
Sorry about the staff kinda of not around everyones very stressed and working their butts off, even we're trying to contact people. But people are working so please come by the hotel if you want to work. ^_^ Thank you.

Can't wait till the con, we've got much to do and our dirty show is something that shouldn't be missed. XD lol

As far as what I heard on the MEWcon forum, there's still spots open, which will be discussed today at noon, and the rest is just come and pick what spots are left at the con. I may think about being a part time post, where I get to be a ninja that checks badges. Though I might just come and be the model con attendee. All this and more will be revealed tomorrow at

The meeting that was planned for noon today has been changed to 3pm. Set up is still going on today so if you want to be staff just show up and start asking around (set up probably wont start until after the meeting).
