It's not confirmed, but my friend wants to do Man-Toph, from the play they go to. So that will be fun ^^

I may or may not be joining him on a A:tLA cosplay...Possibly June...

But there are defiantly some future cosplays I wanna do ^^
A big one is when Sokka is dressed in the Kiyoshi Warriors' outfit ^^

Got a few rough, rough prelims for the contacts and facial hair for young Iroh!

Eye comparison--left is with contact, on the right is my normal eye color.

Still going to be re-trimming the facial hair like there's no tomorrow, but thought that folks might like to see what I've got so far.

Thanks! The wig's set to be shipped out by the end of the week, and I should have the whole thing together, armor included, by early August.

Alright, I'm super behind on this thread due to work killing me, college killing me, and the threat of pneumonic plague killing me...

So that being said, I do intend on bringing Jet back, and this time, with an entire band of Freedom Fighters!

@Kuu: Im so sorry I havnt been easy to get in contact with. Im still horribly sick, but sometime in the next 2 weeks we can discuss the wig etc via pm/email, and then once Im better I can start on the wig.

@Filk: Ahhh Im so happy to see you're being Mai again! It'll be a wonderful reunion

It looks like we're going to have an amazing group of ATLA this Kumoricon! Im really excited!

and also its June. So we should start figuring out days for the photoshoot. and times.

Im going to vote Saturday, at noon. Preferably not Sunday if at all possible.

I am a part of that Freedom Fighters group! As Longshot. I'm still going to be Sokka that afternoon/evening, but I'm going to be Longshot at the shoot.

My preference is to not have the shoot on Monday. I am fine with either Saturday or Sunday, but Saturday would probably be better. Noon sounds good to me!

I am working on painting Azula's armor. Once that is done all I need to do is the collar then attached the shoulder pieces to the neck part and then the armor is done. I may start working on the black dress soon.

Ok I have a short and pants picked out for azula but they are red red. I'm wondering if they should be a darker red. A lot of other cosplays use the brighter red but some of the references look like it should be dark red.

It depends on what kind of coloring you're going for with the rest of the details. A red red would look okay if you did it with yellow detailing. If you went with more of a golden color, a darker red would look better. And personally speaking, I like the darker coloring better.

I bought dye today and dyed the shirt and pants. So far it looks great. I put them in a wash to get the extra dye out so I will see what it looks like when it comes out. If I need to I will buy more dye. But I dried a small section and it came out this beautiful red wine color (the dye was "wine"). I am excited to get it done. Once I get the shirt done I can mix the paint I need (to match the shirt and pants) for the shoes.

Then eventually I will pull out the black pleather I have for the dress and get started on that and the boot covers.

Oh, also, I was wondering - are we collecting a list of requested poses in advance this year, too? It worked really well last year, I thought. We got lots of awesome shots and didn't have to flail around trying to ask for requests while 40+ people milled around.

I know you guys are probably thinking about con and your own cosplays, but I'm just wondering what you guys think is the best out/version for Zuko. I'm not gonna be able to do it for this Kumo, but I'm looking into starting right after con so wanted to know what peoples' fav "Zuko" is.

I was thinking of doing Blue Spirit, but I also wanted to do a different version as well.

Kuu: Adding Toph and Zuko as a pairing, and Jet v Blue Spirit as a scenario.

Vamp: Not a lot of people do Blue Spirit, so that would be cool. If you could pull off a good season 1 Zuko that would be totally kickass. Failing that, everyone loves Teashop Zuko.
