So, I haven't been posting recently, but after going to Kit's house the first time and failing on measurements, I went over again and she helped me sew (*coughsewedtheentirethingbecauseIbrokeherhousecough*) the white part onto Alice's coat. :3 I plan to hand-sew the diamonds on this week, then work on the cuffs and checkerboard when Kit returns from Reno. Also, my wig came today! Sadly, half an hour after I took the first picture. xD Anyway, here are some updates~

As far as Alice goes, I tried to hand-sew the diamonds on last night, and, well, I got one... Then it turned out to be lopsided, and the pinned ones weren't lined up right on the arm when I put it on, sooo... I might just hold off until I can get help from my beloved friend. ;-;

And um.. I'm about half done with Dormouse and Tako Luka for props, and I have to finish Luka's headset, sleeves, stockings and the thing on the front of her shirt.

I'm working on my friend's Rin outfit right now, and procrastinating on practicing makeup and brushing my ungodly Luka wig xD

The Special Place is this, well, bathroom. 8D Lol. Since the con is at the Hilton, the restrooms are super nice and spacious, right? On one floor (don't want to give it away to other users >.<) of the hotel there is a great restroom where it has a super nice lounge area, outside of the stalls and sinks. It over looks Portland since it's super high up. My friends and I went there to relax last year, as well as change cosplays when needed. It's amazing, and might be enough space for a "girls" PH PJ Party~ : D

Ah, best of luck! Luckily you have a couple more weeks. :3 I feel your pain when it comes to long wigs. I've brushed out my Alice wig and already it's tangled. x.x

Oh, and this is random, but I want to meet Cosplay Kevin. I keep hearing awesome stories about him. : D

Long wigs are horrible oAo; my Luka wig curls at the end and is super thick.. and it goes to my knees @A@; I already washed it to help the tangles and am soaking it with leave in conditioner xD

I haven't heard anything about Cosplay Kevin ;w; Can't wait to meet him though~

I was with him at one point when you screamed "KEVIN !!" Or it was some random person from like across the ~~street~~ intersection. We hung out a few weeks back (Ihatehimbecausehestallerthanmejerk). He's trying to get a Cheshire cosplay together . xD

I was *coughbuggingcough* talking to Kit the other day about how we haven't still do not have a set place for the photo shoot. Since we only have until Aug. 30th to come up with a place (according to the Photo Shoot thread), I suggested to Kit that we do a group discussion over MSN sometime soon. Kit suggested tonight (Wednesday). Would that work for everyone? Maybe around 8:30/9 PM?

Btw : this is totally us just messing around but you can see some of our PH cosplays , and our ridiculousness . We had IC moments and OOC moments . Language warning . > A > ;;(I was supposed to be Casual!Young Gil(without a finished wig , IT LOOKS LIKE DARK FROM DN ANGEL RIGHT NAO LOL , the Miku skirt was added a lot later . )

Apparently Pioneer Courthouse Square is closed off for the weekend... (/according to another thread, and some Lego Games thing is taking place there, so no con pictures. :<) So, we do need to find a time to discuss where to meet at 5 PM Sunday. I keep hearing the Director Park being mentioned, but I'm not sure where it is. That could be a possibility, along with a nearby church. The old-fashioned-ness might seem more Pandora Heart-sy? xD

We could just say to meet up in the Lobby or some place and then move the photoshoot to a better location. To be honest, I have to confess to two things.

First off, I have horrible sense of directions and no clue where to go in Portland. Last year, I walked out of the front door to the Hotel, did a 360 and went 'the f*ck...Where am I?'. >< No joke...

Secondly, I totally forgot that we hadn't planned a place yet. ><

Update!! Possible Location might be a church about 8 blocks or so from the con. And we are thinking about changing the time to 11ish to have better lighting for the photos.

This is a link to the church we've found : Saint Micheals Arch Angel You can zoom in to street view it , to get an idea . We are still looking for other locations as well . The church is a 10-15 minute walk from the courthouse square/con area-ish . And we have people who know the area and will not get lost . Since I brought up the idea of a times change I'm good with it . (:

Figgles also wanted to propose the idea of a Twister game or something . (thanks to the video I posted . xD ) What do you guys think of this ?

As far as the time goes, I would still like it to be at five... I have plans for the rest of the day. :< Late afternoon/early evening light might be a bit harsh, but it can add some awesome effects to photos. Also, if the settings are right on cameras, it should be fine. :]

Well, since it's still summer, it wont start to get dark till later so we should be fine if we need to keep it at 5. I'm also thinking of buying glow sticks to use for photo fun as well.

So, we all agree on the church for a good place to go, but I'm thinking it would be easier to meet up somewhere in the hotel. Maybe like the lobby area by the restaurant or front door area? This is so we are sure we have everyone interested in the shoot to meet up and know where we are all going.

Another note: I've been searching for PH pictures and found a ton of cute/cool poses to do that I wanna try out during the shoot. ^^ I suggest other look into it as well. ^^ Obviously, we will have the random shoots as well. ^^

So, let us agree on a meeting place and then figure out the time next. ^^

Meeting by the restaurant sounds like the best place. The hotel/K-con staff doesn't want us loitering in the lobby, but if we all meet there by five, it shouldn't cause any trouble. Then we could head out by five-ten? :3

Ah, yes. Poses are always good to know. Once I finish my costume, I'll be sure to look up some. There must also be cross-over pairings picture!

I agree with Kit! I love all of you and don't want to lose contact. I had a fantastic time! The Pandora Hearts photo shoot, although cut short for me, was my favorite part of the con~ :3
