We have over 20 pumpkins from growing them in our yard. And we even gave a lot away to our neighbors. We probably had over 30-40 grow...
My brother wants to design them all in a Christmas theme...

Um, no. My mom went through atleast six months of dealer school, a course she paid money for, to get a dealer's license she paid about 200$ for. You can't just 'know how to shuffle'. In order to GET a dealer's license you have to learn about all the card games. It's not just a manner of training. Their training might be to prepare you to work in their facility but they won't even interview someone without a dealer's license or it's unlawful. My mom worked up in La Center, Washington.

No...they are hiring people and paying for them to be trained to deal. It's a contract agreement for them paying and you agreeing to work for them for at least so long.

And even so, there are more openings than just that. My mom has worked in Casinos before in NJ so I know all about their ways of doing stuff already cause I talked with her about it.

But my epic battle with my room comes first. It's either do my part to clean up and impress the manager or lose my house.

Though in the process doing so I found the copy of the premier issue for my manga. I plan to have its epic awesomeness fully done and with the right materials and mad skills, the main character's costume too!

Though this character is new and never-before-seen by otaku eyes, the sampler I hope to produce is still only a square mile of the Death Star grade story I have in mind. Maybe with the success of my clean house I can find a spot to call my studio and workbench. Wish me luck.

Hey Kumoricon staff and attendees sorry i can't be there for all the frightefully good festivities this weekend but I'm not sure how the buses run and also I gots to be working stiff this weekend. I'm actually excited about the election but not for the reasons you might think. It's beacuse there's a ballot measure on tap that if it passes would take the old Dog track out here in the Southeast Portland/Gresham area and turn it into a Casino/Convention Center, A resort Hotel, A theatre,a shoping mall and all sorts of good things. Here's why I'm hoping it passes.

1. The Southeast area of Portland/Gresham area could use a proverbial gold mine for jobs like this.
2. Think about it a casino/convention center and Resort Hotel. That would give Kumoricon another option in Hotels and convention space. And well what can I say being the loyal goer I am I want to see this convention has all the options it can as it grows and it WILL grow.
3. Ever since the Track closed it's probably become a sanctuary for all types of undesirables (Transients, gang members, etc.) and we need to do something with all that space.

I think I finally decided on my cosplays for 2011. Kumoricon will likely be Ilia from Twilight Princess, BSAA Jill from Resident Evil 5, and Yukina from Yu Yu Hakusho. Sakuracon will be the same, but with one of my old cosplays or my Butterfree I'm wearing this weekend to Akicon substituting for Jill....

I have to say, doing Zelda and RE groups at the same con is making my head want to explode in joy. =3
