Yeah, I know it's a bit early to be talking about Thanksgiving, but I just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in having a little mini-Thanksgiving in cosplay! It would probably be like the Friday before or something. It sounded like fun to me ...you probably wouldn't want to wear anything you wouldn't be able to wash though........................ ^^;;
Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone else thinks this would be fun? ^^

A question, even though I know you haven't gotten it all planned out yet. If we were to do this, what type of location would it be at? It seems like someone's house may or may not be too small, and a public place is a little bit odd for something like this. At least, an outdoor public place. I just figured I'd ask. xD;

The issue for the mall is that they'd be all:
"WHAT ARE YOU DOIN' TO OUR TABLES?!"
And then kick us out.
We would be better off with more of a picnic thanksgiving thing.

I was thinking it would probably be at my house, and it would probably be a limited event. Our house is big, and pretty old, and it's on 7 acres of foresty trees and stuff, so it might also be a good place for a photo shoot too :3
...I don't know what my parents would think of that though.
I'd have to make sure it's alright with them to have people they haven't met over at our house ^^;;

not worth it. I live in beaverton, work in Hillsboro. Either way, with 5 o clock traffic it would take almost an hour to get there, then the thing would only have an hour left. for that much gas cost to get there, only an hour being there wouldn't be justified.

But it's cool. There is always stuff going on here. ^^

I think it's only because of where it's at. Most people in and around Portland rely on the bus or max to get to places, and every so often carpool. I'm actually getting a ride into Newberg since the bus stops at Sherwood then turns around, and the 99W bus only runs weekdays. There's been trouble with attendance at some Sherwood meetups also. But the few that come still can make it a party. Some prefer a small cozy party to a bigger less controlled one.
