When you have very sensitive eyes, like I do, you have to be really careful where you spend your money on contacts. I'd rather not pay $15 or whatever on a pair of contacts that is going to kill my eyes. I had a friend that got some sharingan contacts that really hurt her eyes, and my eyes are more sensitive than hers. Thus why I stick to Acuvue and usually only one-day contacts (even two week contacts start hurting my eyes if I've worn them more more than three days in a row, even with careful cleaning and storing overnight). I've been wearing contacts for almost 8 years and have gone through a lot of different types of contacts, cleaners, etc. and finally settled on Acuvue one-days. They are really nice, especially if you have sensitive/dry eyes and/or don't wear contacts very often.
