eyes are sewn onto the Matryoshka Gumi jacket! [even if they are a little lopsided. Hey, its my first cosplay that i'm actually sewing things onto. XD] And teeth are being hot-glued onto one half of the smile! i expect to finish the jacket tomorrow and i ordered my wig today. pics will be up when jacket is finished!

So! I've gotten my Luka wig and boots but the outfit is still in the mail.

I braided it so I could wear it to school. But it goes to about my butt. I also need to cut and style the bangs.

Oh, thank you. I think there's a JBF version of her with braids so this kind of works. Except for the Yoko clip.

GOT MY DRESS FORM IN THE MAIL!!!! I might use it to create a better strapless bodice than the pattern I had bought and was planning to use... Or I might mash them together. Not sure. BUT SUPER FREAKING EXCITED!!!!

I whipped up the first layer of my Euphemia dress. I don't have my hoop yet, so it drags on the floor /alot/ xDD
It's made out of this really pretty bridal satin, but it's heavy duty so it weighs like 5 pounds and it's only the first layer of 4 xP Just wearing this dress is gonna be a workout xDD
It took like 7 yards of the fabric too xPP

So I think tomorrow I'm gonna head to Fabric Depot and get some red fabric for Cure Passion. I'm gonna try to pick up some craft foam as well. Have lots of little things to make for that costume as well.

I have moonglo headband done, Majority of the dress(Just need the trim), and I'm getting materials for her apron some time next week.

Anthony Canney. He does good work, it just takes awhile to get there. Leave it to me to have the token not-so-good experience with him. :/

Update on said commissioner situation: $40 for new materials and shipping. Fine. I just want it DONE so maybe I can actually wear it to a con.

Ack, that's across town from me - what kind of other places sell craft foam closer in or on the west side? I'm looking for like 1/4" or 6mm thick, but Jo Ann's only sells 1/2"

I know Micheals does, but I can't remember how good their selection was. Then there's walmart. Their selection ranges by store location. As far as I could tell.

Thanks everyone...I grew some grey matter and looked it up on the internet. Duh! My little sister is a huge cosplayer and is visiting me the last week in June and would like to take her there.

Totally excited today...I got my Vash red duster ordered this morning. totally stoked

Just got to go to goodwill and find a black blazer jacket for Wolfwood.

I put the last coat of fiberglass resin on my horns for Loki before I left for Dralion. No pictures because ololololo typing on my phone during intermission this is fantastic by the way.

Gonna start basic detail tomorrow. Not too sure how I'm going to do it yet but I'm fairly certain it will be pretty fantabulous. I need to figure out how to get the dang thing to stay on my head first though.

Also started my skirt, need to put the yellow edges on that and it's done.

Got beginning detail on my crown and horns, just the border for now. Gonna wait until tomorrow to put more detail on, but I'm proud of how this looks so far! I effing love apoxie sculpt.

So since my group decided to drop our previous Teen Titan plans (was a little bummed at first, but really I'm glad we decided this now and not closer to con) I decided to do a May Lee cosplay from King of Fighters... Found this wig for sale at 40% off from a seller I love and took it as a sign to do the cosplay. It may be a tad TOO blue, but the cheap price makes the prospect of having to dye it a bit darker not seem so bad. =]

Just bought my first wig for Wolfwood cosplay. I like it cause it has clip on ponytails so i can use it for a female and male version of Wolfwood. Couldn't decide which way to swing so I will go with both and just switch it up halfway through the day. Gonna start hitting the goodwills to find a black blazer jacket.

Vash jacket is ordered, glasses are collecting dust on my shelf along with Lord blackcat. Even found fake cigarettes.

Props are coming along nicely as well. Will have my cross punisher cut out next week. I have to wait cause I have to borrow a scroll saw from a friend and that is when I can go to their place to use it. Since I will have my place all to myself for the summer all the other prop work will go faster and should have all done by mid July. OK got to earn a living now before my boss shows up.

Salvation army actually has a pretty good collection of jackets, too. Whenever I don't find what I need at goodwill, that's the next place i look.
