If you want to grow your hair out, then do so and get a wig. If not, then don't and use your hair.

Since this is a Yugioh cosplay topic, I'll make mention of it here now;

Rua is FINALLY gonna kick some butt!!!!!!!!!

I just watched the most recent Yugioh 5Ds epsiode, (141) where Rua, Ruka, and Jack are in a 3 VS 1 duel against Apollia (however his name is spelled).

Its LITERALLY a life or death duel. The preview for next weeks episode shows that basically Rua is the one who will save the day. He aint a signer, nor does he have any special ace monster, but at long last we finally get to see who that mystery dragon belongs to; Rua!

....Needless to say, I super excited for next weeks episode.
Also, this is all the more reason why I want to cosplay as Rua. lol

My Yu-Gi-Oh! plans for this year had kind of...died. And then been dead for a long time. Especially with the latest episode of 5D's (are. You. Kidding. Me

). But I'd like to do something this year... not sure what. I'm still up for BFD, but only if Coco does Aki's, but I know she's stressed enough as it is (aren't we all). xD

Yuusei's wig is still stuck on a device similar to a pike at Coco's house (unless she's tucked it away somewhere). It was awesome, 'cause at Kumoricon she brought it along in case we had time to work on it (which we didn't), so it was just kind of... there... at the foot of the bed... staring at us menacingly. XD

But, yeah. I'd like to do something YGO, just not sure what... an actual Crow would be nice~! Since I think Coco got more of the fabric that she used for her TeamSat vest... :B

BWA HA HA. If I'm delightfully so fortunate (and a friend of mine is nice enough to let me stay with them cheap or for free, as well as I somehow manage to get a ride down), then I will be attending this year! And not just with my regular Pegasus costume, either; I am currently attempting to do his black suit & red turtleneck outfit.

And also, not sure if I'll be able to afford it in time, but I'm planning on trying this year to also cosplay as Grandpa Moto. If I get that costume done in time, I'll wear that one too. (I really hope I can get it done; need to team up with a friend to work on it, and right now she's going through financial hell and selling some of her best wigs/cosplays, sadly... including her epic Yami Yugi wig.)

Wow, its been a while since I checked this thread. Last time I looked at it there was maybe 4 or 5 pages xD

Anyway, glad to hear there are so many Yu-Gi-Oh cosplayers! I'm looking forward to seeing all of you, especially the GX and 5Ds cosplayers since thats what I'll be handling!

On a side note, I'm starting to go through indecisiveness on who I want to cosplay now. Jesse is still on the list, but now I'm also considering Jaden, Yusei, and Crow. Also maybe Kaiba's battle city outfit, but thats a big maybe. Any thoughts?
*if it helps decide, I currently have Jesse's deck and a not quite as good Jaden deck that could go with the cosplays ^.^*

I've officially decided to change my cosplay to Jaden Yuki instead of Jesse Anderson. I'm so psyched for this its gonna be awesome! BTW everyone who has decks should TOTALLY bring them with, and we can have cosplay duels ^.^

I'm up for that idea. I could bring along my core deck (heart of the cards, yo; it's the deck I use more than any other and put a ton of hours and much love into creating).

Sadly, I don't have pictures from my birthday party. And it was epic fail (out of the tons of friends I invited, only 5 showed up; and mind you, a lot more than that said they'd definitely come... highly annoying). Also didn't get to do the black suit version of Pegasus, because my mom wouldn't let me borrow her black jacket that I intended to use for it. *sigh* Oh well, hope my birthday next year will be better.

This panel idea sounds cool. Btw, if anyone should be attending AkiCon in October, you'll be in for a similar treat - I'm hoping to host a super special awesome Yu-Gi-Oh fan panel at the con.

Also, to anyone attending SakuraCon: Does anyone have awesome ideas of how to have the Yu-Gi-Oh photoshoot be more entertaining? So far my buds' only good ones involved acting out scenes and singing Leather Pants and other TAS-made parodies...
