I just had m a bit of a brainstorm. This year once again I'll be bringing my camera to take pictures of all the cosplayers. But I'll also be bringing a long a pen and note pad . That way if I don't recognize your costume I'll just ask which anime character from which show you are (if I don't recognize you.) I can just jot down the information on papaer. That way when I tranfer my photos to my blog there won't be any mistakes.

And as always I promise once the photos are up I'll happily give you all a link to go view them. And when Animeman73 makes a promise like that you can take that promise to the bank!

okay okay. Signs and bracelets are done and wristband is tracked down. Camera is also cleared and batteries are found. Next up: Trying on stuff. Also to do today: Finish skirt and blouse, make legwarmers, make new sleeves, and cut out material for vest.

Yesturday I went to a friends birthday party and we made Tye-dye shirts. And I totally messed up on one of the sleeves, but when I washed it and got a good look at it, it looks like an Italian flag. xD I feel awesome now.

I decided on my platform and talent for next year's Miss Tri-Cities~<3
I also decided my whole wardrobe for the event will be handmade cosplay~<3 ^^

Platform- Women Bleeding Pink: The Fight Against Breast Cancer
Talent - Fields of Hope on Piano (Lacus Clyne - Gundam SEED) [I would sing it while playing but I don't think I'm that good of a singer. ^^; Maybe if I get more confidence, I'll try singing it and see if I'm any good.]

I just need to find cosplay outfits for the following:
Interview - Skirt or dress just above the knee.
Swimwear - This will be my hardest to find a recognizable swimsuit that isn't the school issues swimwear.
Evening Gown - Not so hard, but I want something that isn't too far out there...

I can easily alter outfits to be more pageant friendly...
Like I'm taking Lacus's main outfit from SEED and turning it into a long sleeved top and then combining the top skirts into one that starts purple and slowly bleeds down into indigo. And taking off the white things that hang over the skirt. I'll probably lower the collar, too.

O.o; It's...not a beauty pageant.
It's a scholarship program. ^^;

Miss USA is the beauty pageant where they judge you on your body.
I run in Miss America where they judge you on your talent and self confidence.

This last summer my talent was a monologue from Joan of Arc.

I felt stupid since all the other girls were singing and dancing and I was standing up there in a robe asking people to burn me to death.

I find it so rude when an employer doesn't call you back. I think it's common courtesy to let people know that they didn't get the job so that they won't check their phone every thirty minutes or less, like a crazy person.
The manager told me that I basically had the job...
and it was the second interview too.
