I ended up letting it pass. I had nowhere to go and no one to see. In the end I went to a friend's house and played Star Wars Battlefront 2 on his TV almost all night. I figured there was a dance at a club nearby, but the last time I went to it, I walked away drowning in my own doubt. V-day for me this time was just a scratch that will eventually scab, to be pulled off and forgotten.
But enough about me.

The time has passed and the castle still stands.

I would have watched the super bowl for the commercials.

The only commercial I found funny so far was during the winter games opening. It was a coca cola ad where one of the American athletes got his bottle knocked out of his hand by some snow from the roof. The guy next to him pointed to another team saying "it was them." A snowball fight erupted all over the place while he ducked and dived to get to the coke machine. Yet once he got a new bottle, another snowball knocked it out of his hand.
