I like hearing this a lot for some reason. My high school years were less-than-amazing because of massive amounts of drama and passive-aggressiveness on my part, but I really like hearing people say stuff like this. Well the thing is, i do school online ^^; So all of that so-called "High school drama" i keep hearing about from people doesn't swing my way(at least most of the time), if that made any sense. I normally just go to anime/cosplay meetups and cons to meet new people, and the cool thing about that is that i don't need to go back if i don't like any of the people there xD Which has been the case several time i have to admit.
Also, if i decide to go to college, i can do that on the same school program i'm doing now xD

I was 17 during the 2008 election, literally, like, 2 months from turning 18 :/

Then I lost my ID card a couple weeks before my birthday, and didn't get it replaced until I'd turned 19, so being 18 was essentially pointless for me.

I really need to be back on that whole college thing. 3 years in...I have 4 terms worth of credits. D:

The blood bank has been texting/e-mailing me for the past month or so to go donate some more blood (Only about 2% of the blood they draw in the US is my type, so they are always super low.) I really need to figure out my schedule for next week so I can get down there, I always just feel really good after donating. =]

Handy tip for anyone who doesn't already know: Make sure you're plenty hydrated when you give blood, i.e. lots of extra fluids for at least a day beforehand. (Or at least that's what they told me last time after I forgot to do so and thought I could make it up by drinking a lot of fluid about an hour before... bad, bad idea. Mild dehydration and giving blood don't mix so well.)

So now that you know, start chugging the Ramune or Pocari Sweat today and go give blood tomorrow!

I wish I had never taken that composition class. Not only did the teacher make me miserable because of my utter lack of ability to compose music, but then, once I failed it, I not only have a black smear on my gpa but I probably can't go to kumoricon because of one damn class.

Blood drawin', poop handlin', urine analyzing awesome people. Well, there is a difference between being a lab tech and a phlebotomist. I liked the lab folk when I worked at a clinic

They were nice. One guy was crotchety to the patients and didn't last long, but I didn't have a problem with him.

Yeah, not exactly the dreamiest of jobs but its a livable wage and I'm not good enough to be a doctor haha.

The past few hours has been magic!!!!!!

My brother just got back from a weekend in Vancouver with his girlfriend, so they've been sitting with my parents and I telling us all about their weekend while we watch crazy TLC shows.... from 'Freaky Eaters' to 'My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding.'

Even better my brother brought me back a hand drawn Kesler portrait, bought me a 'Foster the People' concert ticket, has been doing an amazing impression of the French waiter they had this weekend at their hotel, and the re-enacting the amazing photobomb he pulled off.

I LOVE MY FAMILY SO MUCH.

Break ups suck, but there is something that's... "nice" about a clean break up. "Nice" in quotations since it's really not nice, but it is a "happy" thing. "Happy" in quotations sinceyadda yadda yadda.

Tanuki, it's a good thing you didn't drag it on if there was nothing there on your part. I think letting a relationship dangle is a cruel thing to do when one person isn't interested and has seriously considered breaking up for a while.

i'm just glad that it was a mutual feeling. one of the things that made it awkward was that both of our families had been so set on us being together. like i'm friends with his mom on facebook and he's friends with my brother on xbox live, etc. i just hope that my friends/family don't freak out and think it was a bad break up [my sister kinda did XD she text me like a minute after i changed my relationship status on facebook single she text me and was like "WHAT HAPPENED?!?" i laughed XD]. i'm sure most of my friends haven't even noticed it yet even though its on facebook. oh well, i'll deal with the retaliation later. i have cosplays and Fatal Frame midnight madness with my best friend tomorrow to think about! btw, thanks for the support forum buddies <3 ^^

You're quite welcome. I've been on here long enough to know that while some serious drama goes down (something about a Spoon Castle? I never followed the thread, but I get the feeling something bombed in there), but over all this is a place were people will give their best advice and support.

the other day, I bought a Scentsy warmer and a bunch of scents. And an air conditioner. All day long, my room smelled of blueberry cheesecake, and honestly with how nice and cool it was in here, it kind of felt like one, too~

Everyone that walked in was like "OMG WHAT IS THAT SMELL? MMMMMMM!"

They're these plug in lamps with a bowl on top. You put scented wax in the bowl, and the Scentsy burns it slowly. The smells of the wax are awesome and strong so the Scentsy really does fill the room. The scents aren't cheap smelling, either. I can't stand cheap fruit scents, but I looove some of the ones I've smelled coming out of a Scentsy.

You probably haven't seen the forums drama, because most of the time, it gets deleted. Most of the arguments people have are against the forum rules and therefore nobody who wasn't there when it went down can read it

I've seen plenty of drama in the forum community both on and off the forums

I LOVE MY SCENTSY! I have the wishing well scent in my room and it just makes everything smell so clean and relaxing! My mom got two scents warmers as gifts from her student on the last day of school, so now we have baked apple pie going in the rest of the house.... SO GOOD! =]
