Stumptown today was awesome! I got some great comics and met some great artists!

Tomorrow, I am so not looking forward to it. I need to get up at 7AM to get ready to walk a 10K I haven't trained for. Monday's going to suck righteously.

Free beer when you reach the end, though. That's nice.

I have to say.... yesterday was one of the most "ughhhhhh" inducing/ridiculous days I've had in ages.... I would have been miserable had I not found that Irish pub and had some drinks with soccer hooligans while watching the Sounders game. The 'triangle of power' alliance I formed at the casino with the two guys I sat with at the Blackjack table was pretty hilarious also.

Pretty much I had the day off and was looking forward to getting all of my stuff finished for Sakuracon, but got roped into going up to Seatac to spend the day with some close family friends, and some of their aquiantances. I can't properly explain why the day sucked so bad, but even my mom was looking at me at the end of the day and saying she wished we had just stayed home. Oh well, I'll get my stuff done these next coupe days instead. =3

10K conquered! I was soooo slow, but I finished, and that's what matters. Turns out my walking buddy Jordan has some friends who were selling at Stumptown so I went two days instead of just one. That was a good things since I was SO MUCH more relaxed while talking (or "talking" as was the case yesterday) with the awesome artists like KTshy and Ben Costa.

Was that enough to walk off the beer? Did you see anything interesting, or was it cold and cloudy, and not much to see? Where was the route?

The only beer I had was the one my friend bought me after the race. The line to get your ID checked was at least a half an hour long and the line to get a beer would have been probably 15 minutes. My legs were getting stiff so he took me to HUB instead. I had a pint of stout, and it was quite good.

The morning was so gorgeous. The sun was shining and the air was cool with very little wind. The route started at Widmer, went over the Fremont bridge, looped to the left on the other side for the 10k, and went through downtown back over the Broadway Bridge. I feel a bit bad since I walked 95% of the route, but I've never done 6 miles of anything in one stretch and didn't want to tire myself out before reaching the end. Next time I'm going to pick up my pace for sure.

Liquor isn't the first thing that comes to mind after a race. If anything I would stay away from it, especially if I'm burning up in the freezing rain(don't ask me). I immediately go after sweet liquids.

I have a withdrawal headache from caffeine, UGH. My heaadddd. T~T Why, tea, why?! I loved you!

It's gone now, but that's 'cause I just made more tea... but it seemed to help anyway. I mean other than the fact that it's 11:30 and I'm not even a little bit tired.

And that's why you're so easy.(。◕ω◕。)

I gave up working night shift two weeks ago. If anyone wants me to work for them that badly, they can at least give me some kind of shift differential for all the extra prep work I have to do for my lunch since NO ONE within 10 minutes is open at 5AM. Some people have all the luck. I'm not one of them. :/

I don't know when I got the best friends in the entire world, but I have them.

Guy I like gets in a relationship. Both of them are ridiculously tall. My bestfriend: "On the bright side, they might get mauled by midgets. And if they ever had children they would be freakishly long and no one would be their friend"
And then Megan is just being the best.
Alex keeps reminding me that she looks remarkably like a man, and that she's flat chested.

Then there's the support I'm getting because my hero died. Mostly, it's just my friends cuddling me and telling me that they wish they could bring her back so we could just talk for a minute. That would be the best minute of my entire life.
Like I said, I don't know when it happened, but I have the best friends.

Game 4, 4th quarter, down 23 points.  Amazing editing, and not even an entire day has passed since the game aired!

I know a lot of people don't understand it, but I seriously was getting chills and misty-eyed just watching that recap.  Incredible performance.

Yesterday Megan and I were texting back and forth. This is not uncommon, however yesterday, there was a little extra added.
In true Easter spirit we used these words:

Um, also, I just opened the text conversation to retrieve the list and found a picture of Darren from Coachella. I both adore and hate you right now, Megan and I don't even know how I missed that picture last night. I hope you enjoy the one I have enclosed of Dan and Ryder dancing, it is not sexy but amusing.

Anyway, that list:

*Hoppy (Hoppy Easter)
*Eggcellent
*Eggceptional
*Eggsactly
*Eggscruciating
*Eggstatic
*Eggcited
*Eggstremely

I'm so proud of us. :)
I miss 2010.

My day:

*inches away from getting hit by a car to save a stupid little frog.
*stand by lamppost and text my friend to 'go on her patio' to then be chased away by her dad thinking I'm a man serenading her
*laid out in the middle of a middle school track staring at the stars for an hour
*make stupid Jib-jab videos of my friends
*have my mom run over my backpack
*lots of other mom stuff
*proceed to convince my dad I smoke because he happened to by chance see some people I may or may not have known smoking
**nothing can be proved

BIN LADEN IS DEAD, BIN LADEN IS DEAD KILLED BY A U.S, BOMB A WEEK AGO!!!!!

Fox news just confirmed it Osama Bin Laden is dead killed by an unmanned U.S. spy plane which dropped bombs. The main mastermind behind one of the most horrendous attacks in U.S. history is now and forever burning in the fiery pits of the underworld! Go riddance to bad rubbish.

I stand corrected it was a Marine firefight. the important thing is that Osama Bin Laden has finally met his end ironic really that it be at the hands of the soldiers fighting or the country he declared his "Jihad" against!
It would seem our navy SEALS once again proved why they're the best of the best.

It's not ironic. It's appropriate.
