Next Saturday Pocky Club is getting together at Fright Town. We're going to be gathering before hand for food and then heading over to the haunts when they open at 7:00pm. As of yet we haven't really decided where we're going to eat before hand so you can help decide if you're interested.

The primary purpose of the meet up is to talk about the elections, but I'm going to try and get that done before 7 so we don't lose much time.

If you'd like to join us then go ahead and post. You don't have to be part of Pocky Club to come along, nor do you have to be staff to make input on the elections. Everyone is welcome.

Fright Town is at the Rose Quarter, so yes.

I'll come along, and learn the deeper ways of Pocky. Maybe recruit some Pocky ninjas or support for next year's Pocky War...which will happen this time!

Pocky is encouraged to be brought I'll assume.

Will we be going in Fright Town as well as meeting? If so then I'll come in a cosplay that doesn't need a mask or weapons.

So Jaz, you should have the emails from Pocky Club about our meeting. We're probably going to eat somewhere on the way to Portlans since the Clubbers who've replied are all in Beaverton or Aloha.

As for people who want to meet us there, that's great, we'll adjust our plans accordingly! We are all likely going to be carpooling in my GIANT VAN to save gas. Where can we meet up with you guys?

Well we're gonna try and get there around 7 since that's when they open. We'll probably get there a little later knowing my luck with meetings. I was planning on getting our west side crew together around 6 and then heading into Portland. We still haven't decided on dinner yet.

haunted houses gave me nightmares when I was 7. And with how vivid my dreams are, they freaked me out. Not going to bring my son sowhere where he'll get nightmares. haunted houses are normally 13 and up anyways.

Yes, these haunts are not good for 7 year olds. Mayyyybe Baron VonGoolo's, but then who's gonna hang with the little nipper while we're in the other ones?

I'm heading out from Beaverton to begin with, so it sounds like we'll all be coming from the West Side, is this right?

Unless xcthulhux is willing to pay for your kid's $100+ therapy sessions, then don't bring him. Because NONE of the haunted houses there are kid friendly.

No way man, it will ruin it for you.

To be honest the van is bland and beat up. It isn't thrashed enough to give it street cred though so I can't even look cool in it.
Once I manage to get my license (I'm such a loser) and actually get the engine fixed up a bit I'm going to get it repainted. I keep telling Vallie I'm going to have a big airbrushed space scene on one side with Saturn and the other side will be a dragon fighting a wizard.

That's when she tells me she'll stop paying the insurance bills, so I stop.

I'm going to be busy with some other pictures tomorrow so I suppose one more wouldn't hurt.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm going to have to fix the interior first. Dried brown foam on the ceiling and rusty carpet on the floor are totally NOT COOL.

I realizes I don't have my son on the 17th, it's his dad's weekend. So I don't have to go home to beaverton to drop him off home after the SUCH hike. But I hate the idea of staying in portland for 3 hours alone, I'll get bored crazy. I can come home then pick up some people you were going to so your van is not so full. and I do live in beaverton. I am 27 so have 11 years driving on me. and I have a GPS so almost never get lost anymore.

she doesn't know if she wants to or not because she doesn't do well with jumpy things, but i really want her to go.
