Oh! has anyone thought of battle music O_o? I have one song that shuffles through the battles themes V-X and an ipod dock I dont mind bringing.

Yeah, I had planned to have music in some way. I also have an ihome I was considering bringing, the only problem being finding a place to plug in. If you have a solution to that though, of if yours doesn't need to be plugged in, you're welcome to bring it. Having music would definitely be a great aspect, heh

I was originally thinking to have the themes from each game, and then play them for the different battles, or alter between them or something like that. It's all up in the air, though, depending on how the electronic aspect will play out.

Yeah, that's true. I was actually referring to the battle themes from each game, but the character themes could be used also. Everyone could have their own introduction into the battle, lol (like WWE/WCW!)

Yup. I saw they started stocking Cosmode at the Beaverton Uwajimaya (which I had never seen there before), so I am going to have to pop by there and see if this issue is in.

Well, you're free to do whichever you want to do the most, Artamis. Either way, I'm sure there will be at least one other cosplayer of your character (Reno or Zell), so just do whichever you want to do more.

I'd say do Zell, but you may be somewhat on your own this year. I don't know of that many other VIII cosplayers attending the MB. At least with Reno you'll have others to interact with.

Doing research is always your best bet. There are tons of videos all over YouTube, just go searching for VIII gameplay footage or something to that effect.

sweet! I'm gonna try to be Rinoa sometime. I got my grandma to knit me the blue sweater/coat thing and arm warmers.IDK if she really is but she likes to knit me stuff and I usually end up not likeing (but not telling her that, I just stick it in my closet after she leaves and never take it out again ^^;) it so I asked if she would make that for me and she said yes so.. yeah lol

I'll probably do Skirtless Garnet for the practice because I don't want to get the skirt too dirty. Might even bring the ol' 'Zidane stole my skirt' sign. XD Got my potions done! Just got to fill the potions, hi-potion, and elixir with their respective juices! Also; it's all either juice or candy!

I take that back. Just got a look at the dress today and started fixing it; I've got to remake the top completely. There's a bunch of seamline tears I can't really fix without taking it apart, so I'm just going to make Yuna and use the leftover to remake Garnet's dress top. So I'll just wear the wig! XD

Speaking of music, I've got soundtracks um... FFIII-FFXII not counting FFXI, soundtracks for crystal chronicles, dirge of cerberus, crisis core, advent children, the FF piano collection, all three Black Mages cds, and FFX-2 soundtrack. So if any help is needed with getting the music, just ask for a song and I've either got it or can find it. ^^

As a sidenote; Wedding Yuna. Holy crap. O.o just got done cutting out and altering the pattern pieces... that train. @.@ Think my Garnet from last year time three in length and four in width. XD

Thank the video game gods for the clips I'm sewing into the underside so I can roll it up into the feather motif~

Aaaand back to the mock battle; I don't think I'll be able to bring my Tiger Racket for Garnet because I'm taking the bus to it. But I will bring my potions, hi-potions, elixir, soft, vaccine, phoenix downs, phoenix pinions, annoytment, antidote, remedies, summoning jewels, and ether for the practice. Yay for candy, juice, feathers, and costume jewelry!
