I think we are at about 2150? Breaking 2257 could happen.

My Helpfull Roomie printed 493 envelopes today. Mike printed more badges. More badges will start to mail tomorrow.

Ok, so I found my old official figures from last year. Pre-reg officially closed on 08/10/07 with about 1622 (including vips). 179 were very last day mail in and online pre-reg's.

I don't doubt we'll at least hit 2200 in the next 23 hours. That means we've got at least a 37% increase from last year.

Of course, we've obviously given people more time to register this year... but DAMN that's awesome. Can't wait for the official ending results tomorrow... And even then, you have to figure in that we'll still get in straggling mail-ins next week.

We're totally going to hit 2257. No doubt about it!!

And if we continue to follow this trend with the amount of people showing up at the door.... we'll have over 4000 people wanting in.

Eek.

BTW, last year's growth rate.... 33%

I ordered a badge for a family member on the 15th and I picked the mail it to me option. I know it is close to the con so will I get it in the mail before the con or will they need to pick it up the friday before the con.

You should get it before the con. If I need to switch anyone to Will Call for any reason, I will email you.

Speaking for my sister who is a non-forumer what is the utmost latest she should wait before contacting reg again? She said she's tried contacting them a while, and never heard back for her badge.

As of today, almost all badges have been mailed out!

There are still some problem badges that I need to follow up with people on. Only about 15 badges slated for mail out are unmailed. Due to working so hard to get certaint higns resolved I do have emails that I have not replied to in my inbox that have been there a full 36 hours now. I do try to avoid being that slow. They will all have replies by tonight.

If after tonight you have not heard a reply from registration it means I am not getting it for some reason. What to do if you don't hear from me is to PM ME DIRECTLY. But, not until after 9:00 AM 8/21/08. PM me before that time and I will ... well... be sad.

NOTES:

VIP, Staff, Artist Alley and Panelist badges are not mailed out. You get them at con.

If you email me, TELL ME YOUR NAME. I do not have time to research based on your email username or forum name who you probably are. Email me or PM me without your name and I will just email you back asking for your name.

Also, include in the message when and how you regged. This will save me lots of time if there is a problem with your record.

Let's see, is that everything? I've been keeping our asst. reg manager and a reg staffer locked in my house until all this got done. I guess I better go let them out.

Oh, if we get your mail in registrations, like, today, due to mail delays I am going to contact you and let you know you will be in Will Call.

I think a lot of people are picking them up friday night so if you go Saturday morning there shouldn't be much of a line.

Also, sometimes my replies wind up in other people's spam filters. I've had to resort to just calling some people to give them thier answers.

I believe that check in for EX and AA is in the EX hall itself.

No barcodes. They didn't work last year, and yet pre-reg went blazingly fast. So, we are not bothering with them this year. We think they are prettier without them, anyway.

Okay I found the when for picking up pre-reg on Friday 8/29, 6-10pm. Is that at the hotel, and if so where is the desk if anyone knows?

it is at the hotel and from what I was told it will be at one of the entrances but not the main one. Just look for the line of cosplayers. I believe it was at the entrance under the drive up at the door past the main entrance but I'm not sure.

Sounds like the logical location. I know when we were at that hotel before, the registration tables were by the drive up area. They like to keep that stuff away from the hotel check in desk so there isn't a bunch of confusion.

I've yet to receive my badge. Oddly, my brother received his yet I ordered both of them at the same time and he lives 1 mile away from me. People I know that waited until the dead line have already received theirs.

I've been asking everyone to wait until Tuesday to see if thier badge shows. Many people who emailed me about badges not showing up have since emailed me back saying that they did

Also, to people who mailed their registration out late, like on the 20th ... nice try but we are returning those to sender.
