(unless it really is a date, in which case flip away)...
I'll have my fingers crossed tight for you guys in getting it straightened out.

Random, Good advice all around in your statement. I think if it is truly a date, then really that's probably the only possibility in which it might be okay to flip out. It could be that she needs to talk to him alone about something very personal, too. Maybe she needs his advice. o.o I think talking to your beau in a calm manner and expressing yourself clearly is the best way to go (you know, like you said you were going to do). Good luck!

I have to say I'm really digging the fact that my brother has been paying for my dinners lately. Today we went with his girlfriend to Red Lobster and had a super delicious mango berry rum daquiri, and a mango pineapple Mai tai...... about to leave so we can hang out for a bit before going to the theater to see Super 8, and X-Men. SO EXCITED.

Brothers are awesome like that sometimes. My bro and I don't have that similar tastes in movies, but we do like beer! My cousin, my brother, and I are trying to get together more often, and it's really awesome to chill over a brew and just talk without worrying about family social expectations. I can swear around them and say inappropriate things. It's so nice.

My brother pestered me incessantly when I was a kid, so having this reliable older brother (who still pesters me with cop maneuvers from time to time) is great :) Sibling relationships can be sorely under-rated, I think.

Just got back from Queer Prom. Oh my god.
Kissed a friend of mine, got a lap dance from a GORGEOUS girl I barely know, danced with a cute girl with blue hair, won some shirts and a button (It says "Damn straight I'm gay" on it <3), and ground with someone I don't know (who was rather attractive, might I add).
I say today was a great day.

Random blast from the past that I would love to bring back if it hadn't been necro for almost a year...

Grammar is Awesome

(For reference, my love of that thread has absolutely nothing to do with accidental misspellings or drunk typing... it's just that every time someone tells they're friends that their going to do something, God kills a kitten. Please. Think of the kittens.)

(Also for reference... if you care about suchlike and are worried that I'm referring to you, the very fact that you care means that I'm not. It's only the ones who don't care that twist my knickers.)
This is my serious voice. Otherwise, I'm just another anime fan, not a moderator.

Oh man, I remember that thread. Probably my best creation of thread on the Kumoricon forums.

And off-topic but I'm sorry to everyone who's opinion of me lowers when they see drunk post on the forums. I'm sorry that you don't know how to have fun.

Oh boy what a day. Not only did I have to mow the lawn which desperately needed it I also had to pull all the weeds on one side iof my home. Weeds make the palce look bad but geez I never realize what a pain they can be.

I've decided I'm going to weed the yard tomorrow. It's been years since I have, but I'm in charge of the house for the next week so the dog's certainly not going to do it.

I just hope the weather's nice. I wish I knew how to mow.

I have the cutest bestfriend.
I burnt myself really bad yesterday, and I was in a lot of pain this morning, when I woke up. So much, in fact, that I started to silently cry. My bestfriend, Tia, who was mostly asleep and sleeping next to me, put her arm around me and said "Everything is going to be alright. I love you."
<3
It's the only reason I'm not still crying.

i feel like i did a good thing today, that might possibly leave me in denger. about a half hour ago this guy got dropped off at the corner infront of my street. he was there standing for about 20 minutes befor he started walking up the road.after he left i called my grandma, cause she works at milwaukie police station in records, she said if hes there tomorrow to call again and she can send her police buddies down to my house. this was the second he was at that exact spot. watch him be there tomorrow and he`ll have a visit from some of my police friends. i just hope the guy doesnt catch on that i stare at him through the front window and get some people to come after me

It all started with the knee.

Nando, I really wouldn't be too concerned, but definitely keep an eye out and make sure that your windows are closed and doors are locked just in case.

I think you're fine, but good idea keeping an eye on him. Do you have a neighbor you can call to have come over for some comfort or anything like that?

I hate money sometimes.

PayPal's bank transfers are supposed to take "3 to 5 days" right? I'm tried to do one over a week ago and it's not supposed to go through til the end of the month. So my money is now in limbo and I can't use it, and I can't order anything I need.

So I think "hey I'll just use the debit card directly linked to the account! That way I can order stuff I need to!"
Well for some reason my card is being denied. And I call the credit union to find out why, go through all the automated menus and robots, and get told "our database is down, call back later."

I finally got paid and have all this money I can spend on all the stuff I wanted to buy for various things, except I can't  use any of it. It's in a bank account I can't even access right now.

AND I need to get a refill on my Sprintec prescription, so I go to call them and I realize this time they didn't put the number I call or the prescription number on the packet like they usually do, they put it on the box that I threw away a month ago.

I hate everything.

I'm having one of those times when i wish i was 18. There's just so much that i would love to be able to do already, such as stay out later with friends and go to 18+ events at cons and what-not. I know it's kind of silly and i know i already have a lot of privileges, but i still wish ><

Darknight! High five! *clap* Exercise your right as an American citizen! Voting kicks ass! It'll be my fourth Presidential election :)

The first time I voted, it was the 2004 Presidential election year, and I had just turned 18. Bush won, and Oregon voted that marriage means "one man one woman".
I was not a happy camper. I cried I was so mad.

Hopefully you guys who turn 18 will have different experiences! Whoop whoop!

I'm pretty sure you can register to vote at age 17, although you can't actually vote til you're 18 of course.

I registered to vote at the DMV when I got my permit, and since I'm 18 I get to vote now!

I like hearing this a lot for some reason. My high school years were less-than-amazing because of massive amounts of drama and passive-aggressiveness on my part, but I really like hearing people say stuff like this. Saki, when you go to college (if you decide to), be sure to enjoy those years, too. :) College years are awesome. I partied... once and never drank underage unless that 1/3rd a shot of mead counts, but I still had a fabulous time.

Then I turned 21 and learned the wrath of a hangover when I was 22. Uuuuuuggghhh.

Yes, I'm going to try to get into Clackamas Community College for the Lab Assistant program. I want to become a Phlebotomist. (they draw blood) but after I do the program I will most likely attend Chemeketa Community College to get my bachelors degree. Just so I have other options.
