For me it's just my family in texas that I'm iffy about.  I wear women's clothing because it fits me better and I was known for being a huge nerd/gamer throughout highschool and at CCC.  I don't really have friends from PSU but most people I meet in Portland are pretty well-prepared to accept who I am and the crazy things I do.

Anyone ever feel kind of weird when someone from school friends you on Facebook?  Not that I dislike them . . I'm good friends with them .. it's just that I suddenly remember my page is plastered with pictures of me dressed like a girl . . . and they might not understand or would misinterpret XD

I'm too lazy (and I guess I don't care enough) to set them so only certain people can see 'em .. XD

That's a big part of why I don't have a Facebook... it's not that I have anything to hide per se, but the notion of letting acquaintances know who all my friends are, what I'm doing, etc weirds me out. And I'm also too lazy to carefully set permissions.

For me, people are either "in" or "out"... if they're "in", then I trust them implicitly. But if they're "out", then I have trouble dealing with them on any level other than acquaintanceship unless they manage to sneak "in" while I'm not looking. ;) (Problem is, I would also have trouble saying "no" to Facebook requests because of the harsh rejection it implies.)

I hate my life. People on DeviantArt got me to watch Young Justice. I have no idea as of how I feel about the show. On one side I can't stand poorly done kids cartoons of great comic book heroes and on the other side: Bruce Greenwood is Batman....I can't even right now...

I just back from seeing Rotten Sound, Ensiferum, and Finntroll at the Hawthorne Theater.  It was freaking boss.

(man, I originally wrote the real f word there instead... then realized what the heck I just did.)

Young Justice would be so much better if they had the Robin from Teen Titans. He would fit the group perfectly.

Meanwhile if I ever find a spare $8 bucks I don't need, and have the random curiosity to watch the movie, I'll be sure to take earplugs with me.

In other news, I occasionally patrol the meetup boards and it seems like the prelude to a tsunami, with almost everyone drawing back and waiting to crash all over spring break. Also with March being the panic month for the daring souls who are venturing to Sakuracon. So other than that it seems pretty quiet on the radar.

SNOW DAY
Ya...it's horrible right now in Redmond lol. Power surges multiple times this morning, transformers blowing up, downed power lines, downed tree limbs, cars wrapped around poles...gotta love how much chaos snow brings, especially with those people who seem to think they are invincible when they drive in it.

Whoa whoa whoa .. you can't just make things how you want them to be . . . you have to take what you're given, like the rest of us.

It's just a warning this time, but if it happens again I won't be so lenient.

I should make a pair of wings and try to get some air next time the wind picks up all heavy like.

Last Saturday at Amtgard I had to help form a shield wall to keep the papers and projects for the arts and sciences contest from blowing away. I know the holding name is Mystic Seas, but does that mean that there has to be beach weather??

I saw Washougal Otaku today .. as I was driving past him to get on the highway .. I tried to wave to him, then I realized he was waiting at the crosswalk to get past. D:  I should have stopped but I didn't even see him!  It's a really bad spot to cross the street because you can't really see anyone at the crosswalk if people are in front of you.

I'm usually really, really good at stopping for all pedestrians. ^^  But that location is in a bad spot and you're not really visible because the car in front of me obstructs my view. :\

I saw Tanis and Bressler today.  Tanis was in the other room (still is, in fact), and Bressler walked into my house and was like "HEY GUY"

Yup.

*watching wheel of fortune* i didnt know vana was queen beryl....

Pics, or it didn't happen.  (Please...?)

^ Good for you, DemonSpawn. ;D

hahahaha.  Well, my first reaction was "Oh! There's Washougal!"  Then . . I realized, "Oh . . he was waiting at the crosswalk . . which means I was supposed to have stopped . . but I didn't see him . . and then I did . . so now it looks like I just drove past him." XD

Yeah, you SHOULD have stopped.  Don't worry, though; most people who go by there don't stop.

I'm usually really, really good at stopping for all pedestrians. ^^  But that location is in a bad spot and you're not really visible because the car in front of me obstructs my view. :\

I suppose that makes sense; it's not a good intersection in general, too.

Time is going by too fast!!!!! D=

My birthday is almost here, which means my WEST-B exams are just over a week away, and I've barely had any time to study for them because I just finished my midterms..... I also need to get my butt down to the DMV to renew my license. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. I just need a week of no school/work to get caught up on things.

Hey everyone I've got some Anime history here for all of you to see. This is the intro to one of the shows that started me down the path of the Otaku. Here is the opening to the Force Five production of Starvengers from the WAAAAAY early 80's.
