Okay everybody there's something I really have to get off my chest.

When Kumoricon 2010 rolls around I will be taking pictures again. However while I shall not name names, somebody in the 2009 section was speaking to me in a very uncivil and even rude fashion. So I'm going to explain something. My anime knowledge granted is not the greatest and I tend not to ask whom people are dressed as, I just take their photos for my blog. And while I promise I'll do my best to properly identify your costumes the fact remains I'm a human being who makes mistakes. So if I get your costume wrong, don't take it as a personal insult, here's how to correct me in an uncivil and a civil fashion.

First here are family friendly language versions of how not to talk to me:

1. You (bleep) of (bleep) ctop taking photos!!!

2. Your photos are (bleep) as do you!!!

3. You make me frown :c.

Now here are the right ways to talk to me and correct me (Again family friendly language here.):

1. Dudesph awesome pics. Just for your information I'm (insert character here)

2. These are awesome, by the way my costume is of (insert name here) not (insert name here).

That's called constructive criticism, and that will help any photographer or even writer feel good about themselves. Not to mention If I'm corrected politely you'll have the honor of having your forum name immortalized in my blog. So remember folks, whether it's with me or any photographer, manners will get you everywhere! Stay true to your friends and yourselves everybody!

Geez... I don't see how some people can get so riled up over the dumbest things. Seriously they should be flattered they got a picture taken, not throw a hissy fit if someone happens to confuse their cosplay as something else.

I mean because if you misinterpreted, you'll look stupid, but if they don't actually care you'll feel bad.

Be clear with them about it. If you're mistaken, then it's cleared up, if not, they'll probably apologize and avoid making the same mistake in the future. Just don't be a jerk about bringing it up (which I know you wouldn't be, but I figured I should mention that anyway).

Just though something togeather. Bums are easy. Or Harajuku if you have enough assessories. lolita. anything can be don't when looking throw a closet of clothes. But if too sick that is understandable to not wanting to do anything.

I'm weary from a long day of battling, a joy not had since near the end of summer. Yet since I wasn't able to go to the cosplay events I planned to come to, and the dance I did go made me feel less than confident, I feel a little defeat inside. Luckily I get to sleep in tomorrow until noon...just in time for more battling at 1 in my home park.

Despite the so few numbers at our regular game days, Amtgard seems to be the only thing going for me, and sadly I can never find anyone else to bring to play. Except for a few rare moments, I feel like a ghost at cosplay events, just "being there" and haunting the group with my presence. Unable to fit, unwilling to get up and leave, unknowing if I've made a good or bad impression if any by showing up.

And there I go with my depressive, sleep-deprived blog-class posts again. I feel like a stain on a wedding dress with no way to clean up and start over.

Ok, if you don't feel like you fit in at cosplay events, then you probably don't feel like you fit in anywhere. Cosplay/anime/gaming events are probably the most accepting, and easy to fit into crowds out there.

When you came to the PSU Anime Club Costume Ball, you fit in fine. I thought your cosplay was pretty well done for the short amount of time you had, and i was happy to see that you showed up.

Im not sure what Amtgard is, but im usually up for just about anything, so if you need a buddy to come with you to something, PM me.

I'm not sure where you are located, but im sure we could work something out, im pretty chill about most things.... except for naruto.... i hate naruto...
