Yeah, the last two previous days were just miserable. I'm so glad I'm home. Family gatherings are notoriously painful... almost like watching a predictable horror film where you know what's going to happen but you can't do anything about it lol.

Sad days, if anyone was at the Uwajimaya Sakura Festival earlier this year, you may remember that I was given a tiny little goldfish by some girl that wasn't working at the Kumoricon booth that I named Mr. Gross.

I've been taking good care of him but I think he's sick! Some of his scales are losing their luster and it doesn't look like he's eating much. I hope he's ok...

Yeah tons! Being around downtown 24/7 helps a lot lol. I found a lot of good low-budget spots that are really good.

So what is good and open late? We may be driving through there in the dead of night on our way to Minnesota, we're driving not flying, and may need something to eat. I think it will be few and far between good meals.

I wonder if I will be able to eat at Mickey's Diner (Mikey's) Whatever, in St. Paul. I saw it on Alton Brown's Feasting on Asphalt series. It looks like a good place to give a cardiologist a coronary! lol

lol how late are you talking? I know pita pit is a chain type of restaurant (like Subway) but they have some decent food and they're open until 2 or 4 AM. Or the Roxy if you're craving greasy American food. I think they're open 24 hours.
