I am head over heels in love with this series. I am so planing on cosplaying Date Masamune for Kumoricon and I plan on going all out for it as well. For Sakuracon I was thinking about doing the Gakuen Basara outfit for Date (T-shirt, jacket, pants, chain, belt, and so on, basically casual clothes). Its a very simple outfit and the hardest part would be getting the design on the back of the jacket.

Anyone else into Basara and want to cosplay with me?

You already know I'm gonna try my very best to have Keiji done for Kumoricon. He'll be my next big awesome costume! I'm mostly doing it for the hair and the sword, but ohmaigawd I love him.

Also, this series is so amazingly fantastic. Date is boss like nobody's business.

I love it too. I need to watch the second season. I also love Kojuro as well. Pretty much the main characters in the series I love with a passion, like Sasuke, Yukimora, Date, Kojuro, Keiji and so on

Agreed on all accounts. This series is like a guilty pleasure for me. Fighting and dudes.

I'm about three fourths through the second season and I'm loving it.

I've just watched the first episode. I want to get more money so I can finish up the armor and start on the clothes. I think I will probably work on the swords tonight. At least get the sheaths the right color and what not.

I was actually planning/pondering on getting a cosplay from sekgoku basara, would be nice to wear it to a meetup.

Maybe I can be Harumasa or somefing, I'm over 30 so I can cosplay old farts now

XD Okay! :3 It was either Matsu or I was thinking Kasuga or Saika Magoichi, but that one looks difficult and Kasuga is pretty exposed. lol

I just got done with a photo shoot with Tom and I can not wait to see the pictures. The Chinese Garden is a great place to go for that series.

I love pretty hard on Sasuke. Once I finish Keiji I think I'll see about maybe doing him too. That armor of his looks like an awful lot of fun :DDD

I need to remake the jacket but that is really the only thing I think I need to do. That and I will need to get a wig since I can growing my hair out for Azula >_>

Annd. What to you do for date's shoes?

The shoes are just black flipflops with black elastic. It was easy for me since they were black but some of the characters have weird color shoes

I got my tabi socks at uwajimaya. They were a bit expensive and white so I had to dye them but after I dyed them then bleached them they came out the perfect blue worn color I needed. They did have black ones so a little bit of bleach in water will fade them.
