TOUHOU THREAD ARE GO!

I finally decided that I wanted to do a Touhou cosplay again this year. So like heres the Thread ; D
This year I plan to be Koishi and my cousin is doing Ustuho.

I contemplated Yukari myself, but the dress is too much for me. Not too difficult, really, but too expensive.

If I go I'm going as Marisa again, I couldn't make the day 3 shoot cause I got fruggen sick and kept throwing up and left a day early ;;
I'll probably ONLY be wearing it for part of 1 day the costume is REALLY hot.

You could try using like light blue/blue ceran rap to go around a wire frame. That way it's light and transparent. The only thing is you'd be able to see the wire support

awesome thanks, I was thinking like something underthe vest idea with holes and then like making the wings out of this hard thin plastic stuff i got from the art store, the only problems i need more help with are like how to attach the plastic to the stick things that ll be under the vest. Like the plastic is going to be frosted, so;
1. how will the crystals/wings attach to the sticks
2. how will the sticks attach to the under the vest thing

lol just trying to grab more ideas, y-you are all great ;u;

Maybe make the wires cross over like an X and put the ends through the hole. Or perhaps get a piece of stronge material and attacher 4 wires to it. Or a combination of both.

Have you looked at Arda wigs by chance? They have pretty good prices and ship within the US quickly.
