I just played Xbox live for the first time. It was grand theft auto in deathmatch. I was playing as some nameless black guy. I got blown up. Did a backflip wile i was blowing up. I said i did a back flip. But i pronounced "back flip" as "black flip". People laughed.

Was it at a friend's house or on your own box with your own game, at your own house?
Either way, PM me the account name you played on, and give me a list of games you got. I might team up if I have the right ones.

My greeting to the morning was going downstairs, and my mother was making breakfast for just her and dad (which I'm fine with, he's been gone all weekend). So I go over and grab one of those weight-loss shakes, and as I walk away my dad goes:
"You better lock the refrigerator" referring to my weight which I've been working so hard to fix.
I lost 10 pounds in last month... so that hurt even more.

"Hey sweetie, you sure have an appetite lately, could you be??? Ahhh no kidding just playing. Someday. I can't wait for my first grand child. I know its along way off but I can dream...."

OH. MY. G-oodness gracious! Lol.
She just doesn't know when to quit. That's the downside to dating the oldest child in the family.
Please excuse me while I go bury my head in the sand and forget this ever happened. XD

Hahaha... oh man. XD

My issue lies more with the fact that everyone and their mom seems concerned that I need to start actively dating. I posted a status once about going to hang out "with the guys" and my grandma replied "Ohhhh... perhaps one of these guys is more than a friend? jk, but honestly when are you ever going to settle down and start looking for Mr. Right? The clocks ticking!"

I DIED.
Wow. Wow. I can't believe that there's people out there that think it's okay to say things like that in public. I-I just... I feel for ya :c
For the longest time I was a closet lesbian, according to my family (especially my aunt and uncle). Y'know, since I didn't have a bf in middle school or high school I must secretly like the ladies. That's not to say that I didn't go on dates but like that even mattered... Apparently I was just covering up how much of a lesbian I was. ::facepalm::

I'd like to start dating soon. There's a super cute black girl in the Calc I class before my Calc IV class. But I literally have no idea how to introduce myself and ask her out to lunch.

Like would it be weird if I just walked up to her and said, "Hi. You've caught my eye a few times as you were leaving your math class and I wanted to come over and introduce myself. I'm Derek."

Then of course ask her name, maybe small talk about her major/math class (I took the same teacher for College Algebra and Calc I. He's brutal.). Then say, "I'd like to have lunch with you some time. Here's my card. Give me a call. Bye."

Or should I skip the "oh I had the same teacher as you" small talk and just jump straight to the "Let's have lunch some time"? Time is usually short between periods.
I think that as vulnerable as it might be, it's always good to put yourself out there in some way. Maybe you can sit next to her and introduce yourself, talk for a lil' while, maybe bring up a study group thing? If she is interested, she'll more than likely take you up on a study group offer.

Also, Katie ;A;
That's ridiculously mean and inconsiderate of him. I hope he talks to you about that because that wasn't right of him to say that... especially when you're working to maintain yourself and you're not even overweight to me :/

THIS.... once I hit high school some of my friends and my grandma just kind of realized that I was shy around guys, but a couple people at my work the other day actually informed me that they were under the impression that I was A-Sexual, which made me laugh really hard because if anyone paid even a lick of attention to what I'm doing all day they'd notice me drooling over all the cute boys who come in to get sandwiches. We had a full soccer team of international students the other day, it was glorious. =3

I think a lot of people think I'm gay too. ;<  Probably looks bad that I'm 25 and I've never taken a girl to a family get together or anything. ^^;;

I get kind of irritated when my mom will find out I'm going somewhere, like say the anime convention, or the Day 0 picnic, and she's like "OH ARE THERE GONNA BE GIRLS THERE?"

"Uh, probably, Mom! I should hope so! BECAUSE YOU KNOW I DO LIKE GIRLS."

I used to get harassed in high school about being gay (which I'm not, unfortunately).  I don't really know why people assumed I was gay; I guess my personality and the fact that I could dance and had a lot of female friends?  I had no sense of fashion back then though.  I don't know if people still assume I'm gay, but I certainly do a better job of attracting gay men than straight women.

I think it's funny because cause although I like to identify myself as a lesbian, I'm really a very selective bi. 99.9% of the time I like ladies, but every now and again there will be a guy I like.

Apparently I'm not 'dyke-y' enough for people to think of me as a lesbian D:

My mom gave me the talk.
Mom: I know you've told me that you're not gay. But if you ever are, you know, I'll accept you for who you are. I love you.

Me: Okay, thanks. I'm not gay... but thank you.

Mom: :]   <3

Me: No, really. But I love you too.

Lol.

If they were kids it would be normal... I'm not so sure about this one. Haha.

Did your friend know about this brother prior to finding the two of them together in the shower? =/

If not, I'd say that one is right up there with "It wasn't me."

I mean, me and my brother do some pretty gay stuff just joking around, but .. we don't shower together.

The other day he told me to hurry up in the shower because he needed to take one.  I joked, "Why don't you come join me? Teehee!"  To which he went, "Ooahhh!"

But, I would beat him up if he tried to actually come into the shower with me, haha.

You know what the most annoying thing about my Math 252 class is?

The fact that I passed Math 252 THREE YEARS AGO in high school, but didn't get college credit for it because I didn't sign up for the AP exam, so now I'm taking it for the third time, and if I don't pass it this time (failed it last time because of some trivial bs), I'm gonna be pretty freaking pissed. :/

Just integrals.  I decided to retake it instead of testing out because I hadn't taken a math class in almost 2 years, so I wanted to just have a term of review.
