Three years running as a witch in grade school.... I rampaged around the playground herding my classmates with my practiced cackle... I had to go to the principal's office each afternoon for each year on the dressup days...

I shouldn't have been allowed to watch the Wizard of Oz so much!

Well, I've never done a costume for my self before. When I was a very little kid, my mom made one though. It's the only costume I ever wore when I actually went out... before I figured out that it was a higher ROI to just ask my mom to buy all the good candy for our selfs instead of costumes.

That costume was comprised of four, gigantic orange circles... Thinking about it I had to actually look like a pumpkin themed hamburger, with my body as the meat while I was walking around. The insides of the two layers (bun parts) was stuffed with something foamy, and each year it slowly migrated lower and lower...

A cheapass Gogo from FFVI, if only for the fact that people called me "that boy". And since Gogo's gender isn't meant to be known, it means something was working!

When I was 12, I went as Morticia Adams. My Grandmother made the dress. It was gorgeous.

year before last i went as a butterfly the costume was made by my friend and be and i had the bigest wings and green tights it was spiffy!

herm well i have to say that the best costume i ever had and will have i think was my last two years costume! it was a princess. i looked pretty good to. it was purple dress with expensive fabric. i remeber being teriffied because i was running from all the geek fantasy boys all day but i could hardly lift my arms and move my legs it was so ristraining!

Last year I made a really cool fox mask that's halfway between what the kids were wearing on Kakuranbo and a more authentic kitsune demon Noh mask. I made my fox tail out of braided tufts of textured yarn. I wore it to work on halloween (I was a receptionist at the time) and people thought I was an inanimate object until I moved. I actually scared quite a few people with it although it wasn't supposed to be scary...

My best costume was when I was Indiana Jones (I think I was 10). I was so bitchin. Had the hat, had the fertility idol, had the whip.

I think my best halloween costume was the year i didn't want to go out and Trick-or-treat, i lived someplace where it ALWAYS snowed on halloween and i don't like being cold, but my mom insisted so i ended up being a snowflake, i was in my snowsuit with an AWESOME snowflake painted on my face. And inevitably it snowed.
