Progress. I has it.

Weeping Angel is finally coming together. I went and bought fabric for the dress yesterday, and think I have pretty much all the materials I need. Now it's just a matter of finishing the assembly. And to be honest, I'm a lot less intimidated by putting things together than worrying about finding all the components...

That said, I still have A LOT to do before I'm done. Next on my list is finishing sewing the hood to the body of skin, making wig, and gluing on fake nails to fake hands (for maximum creepiness). I might also looking into finding or making some fake ears, since mine will be covered and it would look kind of weird without them.

Well I got a coat of white spray paint on my sword to help me see the areas that need more smoothing. I foresee much sanding in my future

If I ever make another prop I have got to get a hot wire for foam cutting. The blue smurf fluff floating around everywhere is just annoying.

Umbreon! With bad pictures....
I just ran outside to ask my mom to take them for me while she was doing yard work. ^^; And I was facing the sun so my face is all blah.
The back shot just looks like the wig is missing hair but it was just caught on my shoulder or something. But it's kinda good cause you can kinda see the back of the shirt in that picture.
I need to brush that wig. :/ It's a mess...

Got pretty much all the materials I still needed for May Lee. Will likely start work on the belt tomorrow.... I'm excited to start working on it again!!!

Here are some pictures of the pommel I'm working on. It has a chocobo on one side ad a moomba on the other.

I used the dremel to carve the pictures out and although they are far from perfect considering this is the first time I've done anything like this I'm pretty please with how they are coming along. In retrospect the moomba was too detailed for this and should have enlarged it more and maybe just done the head like the chocobo.

I have fixed up my tifa suspender straps and replaced those retarded clips with the correct clips.

My fingers hurt, but literally the only thing I have left to do for Sheryl besides bedazzling it moreso than it already has been is to stitch up a little tiny bit of the lining at the bottom of the zipper. ALMOST DONE GAIZ

What else should I bedazzle though the wrist flowers can't take much more and the shoe flowers are bedazzled as hell. I'm running out of space on my flower crown to put more stones. DECISIONS hrm hrm hrm

It turned out that the plastic spray I was using on stripes was not thick enough so it didn't fill in the pours, so the paint looked HORRID on it. xP
Mum and I went to the store and got some Mod Podge. So far it's working pretty well. I hope to have Stripes done this weekend.

I'm pretty much done with Ciel now, I just need to buy an eyepatch and wig.. and im getting the wig from Jacob_Blackfeather so i'm good on that. But I think I got the wrong kind of boots o__o but oh well ^^"

As for Anri... oh gawd, i havent done anything yet for her.. except buy a sword.. must hurrryyy~!

So, I was being quite the downer yesterday. I don't know why, but I got in such a sudden depression over my quality of work. Excuse that post yesterday....but I'm feeling better now. I put some weathering touches on the waist-guard today, and I think it just makes it look so much more realistic. Feeling much more confident about it now. I'll get a picture to share soon.

Tomorrow I will seal it and be done. Then, I'll give the wrist-cuff the same treatment, and this phase will at last be complete (and with not much time to spare, lol).

Been sewing hella wefts into my Anaru wig to prepare it for styling and working on a wig commission for a friend (Kotetsu from Tiger and Bunny). Kotetsu just needs the bangs cut and styled and it's done, I sent a few progress pictures to my friend and she loves it so far~

Mostly posting in here because of a question, I realized that I would like my Anaru wig to be a bit darker since it's hella bright so I was gonna tone it down with some brown RIT dye with the RIT dye method. The only thing I'm worried about is the wefts I made are no sew wefts, so they were made with clear drying caulk. Would it be able to stand warm water while I'm dying it? I don't want the caulk to melt and get all over my poor wig D:

Finished a new skirt and tie for Lat Miku
Finalized and subsequently dissected the mockup for Kyrie's shirt to use as a pattern
Recieved shirt fabric, finally.
Styled wig, though it could use some touching up if I've got time. I was being wimpy about cutting it short over the ears but I should really suck it up and do it right.

Quite a few little details to finish for Kyrie, like her tie and arm belt thing, but I'm feeling really good about it.

Kaiji still needs pants and a wig to style, and I need to practice my makeup for it (scars, yay!)

All this while still putting something else together for PAX next weekend as well. Whee.

Caulk does not melt. Once it's dry it's gonna stay dry for the rest of time. The edges of built-in bathtubs are surrounded with this stuff to waterproof everything. Doorframes are sometimes lined with it to better insulate houses. Crack in the wall? Caulk it. Crack in the bathtub? Caulk it. It'll be fine.

Also I need to take all the pictures of your Kotetsu friend. All the pictures.

Well I'm in the process of painting and sand and painting and sanding to make the sword smooth and not wood like. My hands hurt from sanding and I should be paking for a camping trip that I leave for today. Way too much to do

however my sword is looking damn sexy ^_^

I ordered my compression shirt! ; w ; yay. And i fixed my gun holsterrrr. All i need to do is help my pal with his cosplay prepping since things broke at scon and he needed a holster so we made one by hand.

Edgeworth wig turned out really awful guys. T.T I even tried going for a more natural styling instead of the crazy unrealistic one, but still I just couldn't get it how I wanted it....Ug. Dx And I know it'll be worse if I try washing it out and restyling it.

Finished sewing my dress for Bianca Solderini

The wig was just sort of thrown on and not combed. I'll probably mess around with the jewelry a bit still.

All I need now is some make up to lighten my eyebrows/make them the right color and make up to make me look dead along with some vampire fangs.
