- Welcome Kumorigirl!

Congratulations to the winners of this year’s mascot competition! First, second, and third place are all displayed in the banner from right to left until May 1st, when the the lovely blue lady on the end will grace all publications with her mascot presence. Thank you to all those entered! Every piece was beautiful, and the race was neck and neck right until the end.

Please watch for the next mascot contest beginning May 1st, 2006 for the 2007 Kumoricon mascot!

March 27, 2006 - Sakuracon

Kumoricon was at Sakuracon, and was well received. We pre-registered about twice as many people as last year, and offered a Miss Ayeka doll from Tenchi Muyo as an incentive to register right away!

Congratulations to James Jensen, our lucky winner!

Great thanks to those who rescued me from the booth! Really, it was a lot of fun telling people about Kumoricon, and even more fun since the booth was in the vendor’s room! (I got a GIANT Choco Cat!!!)

If you have yet to register, you still have time to get our discounted rate of $30. Follow the link above.

Staff gets a special discount as well. If you are willing to help with the planning of Kumoricon, you can take advantage of this discount.

Be sure to join us at the next general meeting. We look forward to seeing you!

12pm

We will be kicking it in to high gear, with roughly 6 months until con time. We will also be announcing the winners of the mascot contest and discussing the viability of a staff retreat later on in the year.

March 15, 2006 - Sakuracon

Sakuracon has arrived once again, and Kumoricon will be there. Meg will be manning the table, located in the exhibitors hall, as often as possible.
The table needs coverage for all of Friday, and intermittently throughout the weekend. This is a great opportunity to gain volunteer hours that can lead to special staff perks at Kumoricon (without the staff headaches.) Staffers, this is a great chance for you to tell everyone how great we are.

Hope to see you there!

I will be counting on all dedicated individuals to help pull out his vision, while he pursues his own path. Thank you, Zac for the excellent foundation. Let’s get to work.
