Might not wind up having time to worry about trying to get a cosplay together for this/the con. Some other things have popped up which take priority, and I'm not going to have much free time this summer.

I may end up doing my Team Magma instead of Dragonair, Team Magma's missing the skirt and legwarmers. while Dragonair's missing the tail and wings, I'm not really up for making a tail.

K gaiz, it's almost August and I'm thinking we should figure out a set time for this. I'm open to all options, but I'm thinking that 11 would be good. What does everyone think?

11 is fine with me, just please no earlier. We're a 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive, so if you could keep it a little latish, that would be nice.

My friends Irene and Erin will be coming with me, just so you could add them to the list and they will be welcome (not that they wouldn't be)

I want to come! Must find a ride though. I'm just about an hours drive away but if you factor in traffic and the fact that I couldn't navigate Portland even if it was tattooed to the back of my hand... keeping it "late-ish" would be wonderful.

So yes, I think 11am would be alright. =)

And as for things to bring, some lunch for yourself if you can. I would say we could all provide foods but there are just too many people planning on going for me to want to figure that out. Bring your cosplay too of course.

Looking at next week's schedule, and considering how hot it's been for the last couple weeks, I'm going to drop this from my plans. It's simply not feasible and valuable enough to me to try to make happen. Maybe some other con/year/time. :/

Hmmm, I'm not that sure. I mean everyone is covering their own food, bring like a towel or a blanket if you can, because I don't know how many we can bring (my boyfriend and I need to be warm that night D:), we'll probably bring one of them sun umbrellas because we can, I can't really think of anything else. Just bring costumes and attacks for battling each other or something.

Also, official time is 11.

I'm excited to see your Kadabra! My favorite Pokemon were always Abra/Kadabra/Alakazam (being my favorite <3). I wanted to cosplay Alakazam but I suck at wigs and that one looked scary. So yay! Someone doing one of my favorites!

o.O The oddest thing just occurred to me... do you put sunscreen on before or after things like kryolan?? I use the spray on kind if that makes a difference. Anyone have an idea?

The paint would cause it to not burn right? I remember going to the fair and getting little painted tattoo's on myself and having my whole back burned, but when the paint would wash off it would be fine underneath.

I'll most likely have some parasol's, at least one. And I also have a picnic blanket I can bring. Its pretty big and colorful. =D
