There is some sort of product that you spray on wigs to keep them from getting tangled but I'm not too sure about untangling them. I would say use some spray on conditioner and then start at the bottom and comb it out in little sections. It will take HOURS but it should work. You jut need to be patient.

you could use normal conditioner....and just wipe it away when you are done.

Yeah. I've started working on it, and it's working. I've just been brushing it and haven't put anything in it yet, but will soon, to keep the static down.

@ oslapedo: I'd suggest "Ashley 850" or "Ashley" from Cosworx... http://cosworx.com/product.php?productid=16290&cat=2451&page=1 The problem you'd find is getting her hair into a nice pony-tail without showing much unless you can get the hat to hide it well.

Anyone have tips on what I can do with my Allen Walker (D.Gray-Man) wig's bangs? I've seen some people've trimmed lots of bangs. I'd like it to be accurate, but as it is right now, I'd go blind and have zip sense of depth perception x.x

Does anyone know where I can get a good wig that looks like this?

I was thinking of looking at cosworx but I'm not sure how thick their wig wefts are.
For some reason it's really hard to find that shade of pink for a good quality wig.

i've done it like, 5 or 6 times.

I need to do that for my Sven wig. I flips out in the back and shows my hair, plus it doesn't look good under the hat...

You could try using a straightner, but be very careful with it, and do it quickly?

i used a straightener and it worked very well actually. the hot water was working but not giving me the result i wanted. i put the straightener for 2 (out of 30) and pulled it through the hair quickly. it still has a slight wave at the end but i think it makes it look a bit more natural. lol :D and its definately better than it use to be! So I was wondering for strightening and washing wigs do you use STEAMING hot water, or lukewarm, or just in the middle?

@saya- you could try puting lots of styling gel stuff (I use Got2be) to sleek it back, then, if it's too long trim the edges.

@bluewolf- When I wash mine, I use warm water. not too hot, not too cold.

@ Oslapedo- I've seen this one girl that did whatever the blue haired ones name is, and she used those fluffy boas (the ones without feathers) to do the pigtails. It's the most successful approach I've seen for that wig.

Does anyone know how to make this wig http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130296085291#ebayphotohosting look a bit curlier/wavy?

I'm trying to go for this:

What you could do is big put it in big curlers and then pour hot water over it. Let it dry before you remove the curlers. That should add more curls to it....but I think the wig looks good like that.

I'm trying something with my wig. I am wrapping small sections of hair around itself then soaking it in hot water and letting it dry. I am hoping that it will add more waves/curl to the wig.

@Sahara
For Maru I would make stubs wrapped with same color wig extensions.
Use cones and attach long same color wefts that you can teeth with a comb or just curl it with hot water.
For Moro use fabric wire warp the wire around with hair extensions and add them to the wig like making idiot hair

@ Sugar, I'll have to research some of those wiggy terms (Stubs? Haha, I'm dumb <3) but that sounds like it might work and look good.

I think you should get a waist lenth one, it shouldn't be too hard to take care of because it's in a braid. And you should be able to find a wig with separated bangs like that.

Hmm, you might be able to part it, then gel them to the sides or something. I don't know if cutting them will look bad or not. But I'm pretty sure I've seen long blonde wigs with no bangs at party stores and costume stores. If you are willing to pay more for it, I know that there is a wig store somewhere in Portland.

any way its doesnt look like Vega has bangs in the photo I posted but he does.

Hair twisted and drying

After it is dried and the twists pulled apart

Not a whole lot....At least I couldn't tell but I only did it to that small area. It wont hurt the wig at all to try it to the whole thing. The bottom part does seem to be going in more than one direction where the original all curls to the left.

Alright well I did the whole wig that way. I put a little hair spray in it and blow dried it. I'm just waiting a little longer for the lips to dry out then I am going to see how it looks. If it turned out alright I will have to do it one more time after I dye it.

I think it turned out pretty good, not a whole lot of change but it does look a little better.
