oh yeah man! I'm ready for this. -excited- ^_^ I've wanted to cosplay jiggly puff for awhile.

It doesn't seem I have any other plans for the 11th so that should be fine for me.

Hmm well I know it might be almost impossible to find a time that works for EVERYONE since we have like 20 people involved in this but is there a time that would work better for you Vampire-Kameko? Pretty much the only time that won't work for me is before the 11th in July.
Actually let's just all post when we are available and dig up a time out of that.

Well...is there gonna be a photo shoot or something at the con? Because my only availability would be sometime in August but I doubt you guys would wanna do that so I could just settle going to a group thing at the con. But yeah.

There is going to be a photoshoot at con. And we can try and see what people want to do too. August would mean more time for people to finish their costumes before the meetup and stuff.

So I've decided that Zubat won't fit in my buget, I won't be able to get a wig. And I dont think I can make the wings work out. I'm already making one pair of wings for another cosplay and I think that having these too will stress me out.
I will still be a Gijinka though! Just one that has my hair color/style or something close to it. I have three that I like. Could you help me pick please?

I'd say Meowth. Even if your hair is the color of Alakazam's it'd be hard to do the ears with out them looking really bad without a wig.
Meowth is super cute though, Sandshrew is too but one of my buddies decided today he was gonna do Sandshrew. Doubles are all fine and dandy though.
Anyways in that long message basically I'm saying Meowth or Sandshrew for easiness.

By the way, what about OTHER Pokemon costumes? Like pokemon-pokemon, or human characters or whatever?

My Charizard will be a 100% original design...baised off of the character of course. David's will be simular to the one pictured but still kinda different.

I'd go with the last one. The first is only barely recognizable, and the middle I couldn't tell at ALL what that was supposed to be until I looked at the filename.

And now since that's included I think my boyfriend is going to cosplay as Prof. Oak because he thinks it's hilarious or something. Also gathering time for Pokemon? I think figuring out the day at this time would be best. I'm good for the 1st or 3rd day of con, though I would prefer the 1st.

EDIT: Also I hope someone cosplays as James from Team Rocket. Please? He's my favorite from Pokemon and since I'll be a Victreebel...it will go hand in hand.

In other news I started getting my Victreebel cosplay going. Tofu was talking about wearing our Gijinka costumes at the next Kumoricon pre-reg event that we go to so I'm hoping I can work, work and get it finished.
I got the pattern for the top leaf cut out last night and I'm going to get the ass leaves pattern done tonight. I'm still stuck on how I'm actually going to attach the butt leaves to myself at this point. If I make them light enough I suppose I can just attach them with velcro but I was hoping to put wire in them so I could bend them to any shape that I wanted.

I used a body shaper that worked perfectly for the clouds on my SNJ. I hot glued them on the costume on my dressform, then waited for the glue to dry. I never had a problem with the clouds coming off once.

I'm going to be~! Two to be exact since it seems like her hand is covering up the other one. I was also weighing the possibility of getting some small vampire teeth to wear in my mouth (the good kind that just attach to your canines) since she has a little sharp tooth sticking out of her mouth as well.
That all would depend on the price though.

I almost decided to change from jiggly puff to wobbuffet but I decided against it. XDI already have so much riding on jiggly puff and I'm already like half way done with her. >_>I think the only reason I thought of changing was so I could say his name like he does. lol

I really only need to do a few more things. Make a hat with ears and a swirl(I can't make my wig do that T_T), Get a few accessories for the outfit and buy a pink fluffy blouse type shirt. :3

Im so tempted to be Togepi too....I have some great Ideas for that. Maybe if I have time and can pull it together relativly cheaply Ill do both.

Im excited about my Charizard. I have so many Ideas for the dress im making. I cant sew worth crap so Im embelishing a simple orange dress that I just ordered! Yay! Its going to be awesome. Im kinda stumped on how I want to go about making the wings but I did figure out the best way to make the horns so thats happy.
