you could always attach a post it note on the very bottom (so it's not covering anything up) with a chibi on it. and it can be your own personal one. and it can say, just cause ima adult, i still have a chibi inside me two

anyways back on topic. i am trying to see if i can incorporate my badge as part of my cosplay. maybe as a security badge. idk. all i know is the warmth of having my dog sleep on my bed first to warm it up, is not even close to the awesome feeling of my con pass......Mmmmmmmm

Mine was pre-reg online to. They told me that if I hadn't gotten in time it would have been at will call thats where they put the badges that don't get mailed out in time so please try not to worry to much as long as you have your state ID so they can tell that your on their mailing list and that you did order your badge you should be fine

If you have your email receipt from Acteva, who completes our online orders, that might help speed things along. I usually print out stuff like that when I go to cons

I'm sad, because I kept telling my Mom I wanted to pre-reg online before the date where you can't get it mailed home, but she waited anyway. So now I have to go to will call to get my badge and I have to wait for my friend to get her badge at the con (she didn't even manage to pre-reg!) And also, it's impossible to get lanyards at the con this year (it's my first con ever and I was hoping I could get a lanyard; I know pathetic)

I'm getting a bit confused, so if we get our badge in the mail what do we do at Pre-Reg Friday? I feel like an idiot since I know I read this somewhere already, but since it says lanyards are a bonus item I don't understand what there's left to do.

Even those whose badges were mailed still need to check in. This year, instead of lanyards, we're using badge holders to act as proof that people have checked in. The policies page was updated this year (just recently, in August) with the new information:

When you check in, you will receive a holder for your badge. This is proof that you’ve checked in and the best way to keep your badge on your person. Keep your badge in its holder and visible at all times. This is the easiest way for the staff to know that you are allowed inside the Convention Space.

for those whose badge is a 'will call' from pre-reg can they do what us other pre-reg'ers do on the friday and do day early thing for badges?(i forgot what that was called brain has gone to mush today)

If you are asking if Will Call is open on Friday, the answer is yes.
