It's for both actually. One version for each, similar to how FFXI has a PC and a console version.

so are you aiming for some high end graphics or just something simple?   also, are you starting from scratch or you got a game engine to work from?

We're aiming for at least Xenosaga level of 3-d graphics, if not better. The game engine is something we're still researching at the moment to find out what our options are. Since we're all still in college we have a very low budget, just based off our own out of pocket money and any rare donations we get. As a result, until either one of the anime companies we're contacting decide they like the story enough to make it an anime, or until some of us get a more steady source of income (like a full time well paying job), we're going relatively slowly. We're still finalizing character designs and finishing the storyline right now.

asking because the xenosaga 2 went for a more realistics look.  either way, that a pretty big goal you've set yourself for.

A few things...

First, nice draft. ^_^

Second, I noticed a couple of small color (white, grey) blocks on the drawing.  There's one near the front character's left elbow and I think one on top of the girl on the right's head.  I wasn't sure if you knew about that.

And third...

so you were a catboy in a world containing ROUS'?  ^^ (just kidding)

Ten bucks, ne? That's better price than any of the quicksell prices on pieces in the Sakura artshow, and this image rocks (granted, a number of those were originals or came framed/matted both but hey I can do that part I just want the art).

Sure, I'll buy one!

I'm noticing you guys sure have a lot of big plans. I really hope to see you go farther with them and succeed! If you'd like any help, let the people in this community know about it. We all have that volunteer spirit and we're great at getting stuff done. Man, I can't wait to play this game now... *dances*

Give the girls nice shoes!

They don't have to be 6 inch pumps or anything, but I'm so tired of seeing beautiful costumes on females in video games and then they look like they are wearing huge brown combat boots or worse with their wonderful costumes!

Well, that's my opinion anyway for what it's worth.  :)

My hair will be the exact length of the brown haired girl by Kumori (and the same style if I don't trim it too much).  If she has nice shoes, I'd love to cosplay her!

Have you ever heard the ending to Garrison Keilor's stories about Lake Woebegon?  (radio show on NPR-  Prairie Home Companion) You're post almost has the same cadence.   His sign off every week is, "Where all the women are strong, the men are good looking, and the children are above average!"

Because I've been awake almost all night (husband ill) it's making connections in my head that may only be funny to me because of the lack of sleep but when I read your post, I thought this right away:

"Where the artists are girls, the guys are bishonon, and all the shoes are above average!"

If you've heard those stories before, this should be really funny (in a good way).  You can add me to the list for a poster.

ok! im gonna make a list of people that want these. It will take about 2-3 weeks once i get the 40 orders to get the posters, but were about 3/4 there now. i think most of you know me or have met me or know people i do, so you know im pretty honest, so i hope it wont be asking too much to get the money first so i can actually buy these to get to you. If there are any problems, please let me know ^^

If you want, I'm sure you can come up with a way to ship many of the posters for people in the Eugene area together.  (Like the Kumoricon staff people).  Or maybe deliver them to a Kumori general meeting and then there would be no shipping at all.

When you are ready for us to pay, you might ask that would be an option for some of the Eugene area people to save on shipping.

(I really mean it about making that blue outfit.  At last Kumoricon I had a deal with Konami to dress as one of the Karaoke Revolution characters in exchange for tons of great prizes, so I've modeled for a video game company before.

In your case, I just really, really like the outfit!  I don't want anything for doing it.  Would you mind if I did?  If you let me, I'd hope a side and back view would be available eventually -- no hurry-- and, of course, the shoes.

Lol, getting the posters to Eugene is easy... Ron lives there :P I'll pick up the posters for the Portland people when I see him, and then I'll pass it on either to the people who ordered them, or to people who talked to the people who ordered them ^_~

As far as Yuki's (the brown haired girl) back and full front view, we actually have those already. No side view yet tho. You can see them in the official art section of our forums: http://www.ronime.net/forum/index.php

Unfortunately, we're still finalizing the story line and character designs, so a demo is a bit off yet. We have a ton of character designs you can display if you'd like tho.

The posters are done and delivered already, so PM me (if you're in the Portland area) or Ron (if you're in the Eugene/Springfield area) some details and we can deliver you one ^_^

as Luana said, no demo, but we can do pretty much anything else you want. Panel, art show, we have TONS of art, tho we need a bit o' money to get stuff printed for it >.>;; we can have any interview stuff and anything like that! We are on a roll and things are going great! Expect at least 6 cosplayers from this game to be at k-con as well!
beware the ronime XD

Whats the point in being the director if i cant be evil dictator every once in a while?

@Panda: Tacoma is a bit far for us to deliver, so unless you'll be in the Portland area sometime before the con, you'll either have to wait until the con, or pay for shipping. Sorry!

@Neko-chan: I don't think we'll be at the meeting, but its a possibility... Are you going to be in the Portland or Eugene area anytime soon? If so, we can give it to you then, otherwise, you're close enough that next time I'm in Eugene visiting Ron, we can visit you and drop them off then. You said you had people wanting posters there too anyways ^_~

I have SUN & MON off. I can hook up w/ either whenever. PM me. I'll try to get it framed before the con. Depends on if its an odd size. Did you have any pencil or character sketches for sale or display?

We have a ton of designs, drawings, sketches, etc, but we don't have any actually printed out for display/sale, etc. If you would like, we can have some made by then, but some help getting them done would definitely be appreciated :)

PM sent!
