If you want to make some quick hum bao, check your local Safeway store. I know of at least one that carries frozen hum bao. You just put them in a steamer for 20-25 minutes and there ya go. Delicious!

IMO my little boy looks A LOT like a miniture Goku, and Goku is one of his favorite anime character too. Perhaps next year when he's 5 I'll dress him up like Gaiden Goku and go as Konzen and then if I need to carry him or discipline him, it will just look like part of the act. ^.~

Speaking of Sanzo becoming a father someday... we'd have to start with who would be the mother. ^.^

I like to make a lot of wallpapers, animated gifs, and icons for the web site my hubby and I run, and I'm working on a series of anime couples (two characters from different animes being a couple). The first one I wanted to do was with Sanzo, and it was tough finding him a matching anime girl he would hook up with. For one, she needed to be someone he wouldn't have to worry about protecting, and one that had common interests. So after a long period of thought, I found her...

just ignore me and my liking yaoi okay...lol..*cowers* i think she is an odd match i dont know much about her sadly..but i think honestly sanzo needs someone who is very cheerful so they could shatter that nice cold shell he has...thats just my personal opinion but i mean sanzo is always saying stuff like "i cant bring myself to care about someone so much again that i couldnt bear to lose them." he says that about goku and he is very cheerful..so i think if a person was dedicated enough to try for a long time there would be accomplishments

He also hits Goku repeated with that darn fan of his. Which wouldn't be a good thing to do a significant other, hehe.

I've always felt that if Sanzo would EVER get into a relationship with any woman (and I'm not seeing it in his future - he's too much the "single father" type to me ^.^;), it would have to be someone he's come to respect. I think that's the key. In the whole series, I don't think he really has respect for anyone outside of Hakkai, Koumyou Sanzo, and perhaps his superiors at the temple.

Heh, you mean he fakes his respect for them, if only just to keep them from lecturing him all the time.

Anyway, IF (big if) he ever got involved she'd have to be one H3LL of a woman to win him over. I'd completly respect a woman like that it I ever met her. In fact, I'd ask her for some pointers. :wink:

Oh! And can take the verbal abuse as well as dish it out...not to mention the physical abuse. (Damn paper fan -_-##) Though most of the time she'd prolly just smile and let him dig his own grave with his actions anyway, but quite able to get him out of them. Confident, bold, outgoing, cheerful, strong, capable, and well intimidating really to those who don't know her very well. And I think she'd have to be pretty domestic too. (Cleaning, cooking you know Goku is going to live there with them -_-;; but that's not too bad...except for whoever gets groceries

Speaking of Sanzo's potential woman.. I have some serious questions about the episode with the kitten.

A strong underlying aspect of the story deals with reincarnation. It's well known that the Sanzo party (well with perhaps the exception of Goku) have been around each other in every reincarnation. So if you go by the theory that like souls, or destined souls seem to gravitate towards each other in every lifetime... who is that female kitten? She obviously "knows" Sanzo.

And with the naming of her... Goku calls her "fluffy", Gojyo calls her "Betty" and Hakkai calls her something like "Calico" I think. But does anyone by me remember that the Merciful Goddess actually calls her by a name? I'll need to watch that episode again, but I remember her saying something like "I would have called her ------?"

Hmm... I sense a fanfiction to be written... *opens up MS Word and gets typing*

sadly i bought all of gensomaden online in a 6 disc set..and reload in a 4 or 5 disk set all in japanese...but im planning on saving the money up and getting all the dvd's seperately...of course that is like a 5 year long goal lol..i have lots of anime to get first
