Yeah, those would be pretty awesome. I'd also like to see more of the Bahamut-Shin battle, or the Cloud vs. Kadaj fight. I just want to see more of Red XIII, he seems to get left out a lot, heh.

Lessee, what would some of my dream scenes be?

I'd like to see the remains of Jenova, the head in the box, I really want that to be visibly involved in a scene somewhere.

I'd also like to see more of the Turks as a unit, not just individually. (But I guess that's what Before Crisis is for, right? Darn cellphone games!)

haha, that is a good point. I don't think I've watched Advent Children since I last finished Crisis Core. I hadn't thought about seeing Cloud as a young runt dragging away the Buster Sword in one place and then seeing him as the ultimate god-hewing hero in another, haha. That would be an interesting transition.

Speaking of transitions, here is what I want: A Final Fantasy VII movie. They keep saying they may or may not remake FFVII for the PS3. I don't want another game, I want them to make the original story into a movie. Then the story would transition perfectly. I could play Crisis Core, watch FFVII, then watch AC. It'd be perfect, heh.

Yeah, that would work well too. I think an art style similar to that in Ragnarok would work well with FFVII. That has a rich fantasy air about it, but there is also the style of Blame, which would depict the dismal, darkness of Midgar really well.

I actually am not too fond of that art style. The artistic direction that the character designer took starting with Kingdom Hearts has not been much to my liking. Just my preference of course, but everyone just looks so rigid and angular. *shrug* My opinion. I'm just a fan of his older artwork.

Yeah, I'd check the manga out regardless just because it was FF, but like I said, that was just my viewpoint. As long as people like the art, that's all that matters.

Yeah, if a story is strong enough and I have enough connection with it, I will read it regardless.

That doesn't apply to new things I read though. I can't pick a book up off the shelf having never heard of it before and enjoy it if the art is not to my liking. I have to be drawn to the aesthetic before I can enjoy the story.

haha, but you have to keep them around so as not to appear rude or ungrateful. ^_^ We've all had situations like that at some point.

So, this may be a bit off-topic, but anyone know about The Black Mages? Nobuo Uematsu's progressive metal band that strictly covers Final Fantasy music? They are amazing! Check them out if you have any appreciation for Uematsu's work on the FF series.

Yeah, if they did do a movie of FFVII, of course I would hope they would cover everything that happened in the game, small and major details and events alike. I could see that movie being broken into several parts, like Lord of the Rings or Narnia, because it is absolutely epic. There are hours and hours of potential in that game (obviously, I mean it did take 40 hours or so to play through, lol, not that it would be a direct verbatim transfer into film or anything).

And yeah, you should totally check out The Black Mages. For an example of what they are like, they did "Advent: One-Winged Angel" from AC.
