haha, I totally almost kinda contradicted myself. Well, circumstances change.

For the record, I didn't buy a Blu-Ray player, nor did I buy my PS3. I simply received one, so....I didn't completely contradict myself.

Yeah, I still have not seen any games for the Xbox that are really calling out to me, so I'm glad I have the PS3. FFXIII is an obvious one, but there are quite a few games for this console that make me feel like it is worthwhile (Motorstorm, Little Big Planet, Heavenly Sword, Assassin's Creed, God of War III, The Last Remnant). I'm sure some of those are also on Xbox, but I just like to stick with the Playstation, heh.

I usually need music to keep me moving and energized while working out, but I bet those fight scenes would be epic enough to keep me going, for sure, haha. Doing the eliptical, I could just pretend I'm racing up the side of the Shinra building, chasing Sephiroth! lol (That was too nerdy...)

and it was kinda easy to work out to AC. I felt like I wasn't paying enough attention to my workout so it seemed too easy though

yeah this past week workout was hard for me but those ones that are hard make you burn more. Not sure how that works but I remember reading that. A workout should be difficult and tiring and I didn't think that last one was.

My two copies of the movie are in Corvallis so if I want to watch it I have to wait =/

Yeah, I know that it is the hardest part of a workout that benefits you the most. I think it has something to do with (when weight-lifting, anyway) the muscles being torn, and the last most difficult reps tear the muscles the most, everything up to that point is just build-up, so to speak. I assume it is similar with cardio.

And that stinks about your copies of AC. So where are you now? Are you out here for the weekend?

I actually could see him "settling down" so to speak, and opening up a little shop in partnership with Tifa's Seventh Heaven, where he would teach and train proper materia use. I can just see him, the experienced warrior settling down and seeking a quiet life with close friends and family. Also, there is the tutorial scene in the Seventh Sector where he teaches limit breaks and materia (I know it was just a tutorial for the player, but still...).

But yeah, I could definitely see him nestling into common life with Tifa, Denzel, Marlene, and Barret, teaching all the orphans about materia and preparing them for life in the society of the reformed Shinra Corp.

agreed. i thought all the voice actors were pretty perfect for their parts. i don't use the subs cause i watch it with english audio... but the english voice actors fit the characters really well, imo.

It took me a few viewings to really catch on to the English voice they had for Sephiroth, I'll admit. I had been watching the Japanese version downloaded for so long before the US version was even released that I really got attached to the original voice of Sephiroth. That deep, slow, hollow sounding voice is just so perfect for him, and I was disappointed in the English version at first, but it eventually won me over. Now I love it, can't find a thing wrong with his voice or anyone else's.

Yeah, I guess thats the way I feel. I went for soo long with the japanese version that when the US version was released I was dissapointed with some of the voices. I don't think its terrible, I just feel that it could have been done better.

haha, yeah I'll admit his voice in the first couple of chapters was a bit too eager and rambunctious for me (not as bad as Tidus from FFX, but close). This, of course, is not a problem I find with the voice acting itself, the voice is supposed to be like that because that's how Zack was. He hadnt' grown up yet, so I accepted it (in all it's annoying energetic nature, lol).

So I noticed in the trailer there is a clip of Rude talking at Healin. I wonder who he was talking to? It looked like the same scene as the opening when Cloud first gets there, so maybe Rude and Cloud have some words after the Buster Sword comes out but before Rufus shows up? Mysssstery....

Yeah, Zack is amazing. I won't say I like him more than Cloud, but in his own right he is pure awesome. I think, essentially, Zack equals perseverance while Cloud equals struggle. In a way, Cloud only persevered through his struggles because of Zack...but that doesn't make him any less cool, in my book.

I like them both, can't choose one over the other.

And can't wait until you get to that last scene of Crisis Core, Syd. If you somehow made it through the game without feeling much for Zack, that last scene will be the clincher. It's...beautiful.
